I purchased this couch two years ago for my first apartment, and unfortunately, have recently decided to part with it after finding an upgraded couch at another retailer. The reality is, the fabric on this couch feels pretty rough and coarse, and I can feel every spring when I sit down on this couch. It is really, really, really uncomfortable. The seats themselves also have a little hump, so depending on where Im sitting, it does feel like I am slowly but surely sliding off the front of the couch. Still, a stylish choice if thats your priority, and it was definitely easy to set up and fine for a night or two for your guests if you need sleeping space. But would not recommend this to a friend.
Perfect starter couch. If youre buying for your first apartment and cant afford a $1,000+ couch but you still want something that is attractive and modestly comfortable, this thing will fit the bill.
Overall takeaways:
-Relatively easy to assemble. Im a woman in my late twenties and was able to do it by myself in about an hour. The actual putting together isnt hard, theres just some awkwardness in how you have to put the arms on and maneuver the whole thing by yourself. The legs were super easy to attach.
-Looks great! True to the picture. No damage or areas of concern. Really loving the mustard yellow.
-Comfort. Okay, its not a luxury space foam suspended in zero gravity that prevents aging, but with the addition of some throw pillows I can definitely take a nap in this. Can also add a topper for when folks sleepover and you actually need to use it as a futon.
Love the look of this in my small space. If you plan on using the futon as a bed, I highly recommend purchasing a mattress topper. Perfect for having a guests stay for a night or two. Its definitely not the comfiest without it. If you are assembling by yourself, attach the arms last! Its not the most luxurious piece of furniture, but for the price you really cant beat it. Mine gets tons of compliments!!
It actually looks great in person. My only warning is that the back doesnt look super finished (you can see zippers where the futon legs come out) so I wouldnt plan on positioning the couch to face any open part of the room. The cushions are very firm, but not actually uncomfortable. I usually equate firmness with discomfort, but I wouldnt say that of this couch. My bed hadnt arrived yet when I moved into my new place last week, but the couch had, so I ended up sleeping on this for two nights. The first night, I tried to sleep with the futon part down but actually found that uncomfortable, so I popped the back up and slept on it like a normal couch and found that more comfortable. I also slept with a folded-up 3-inch memory foam topper on top, which is something I happened to already have. I dont think I would have been able to sleep on it without that extra memory foam. Its comfortable, as-is, for sitting, but not for sleeping. Ultimately, for $290, Im pleased with this purchase. I need the thing to last a year, and I expect it will. If youre looking for a long-term investment, Im not sure Id recommend this.
I love this couch it looks great and is way more comfortable than I would have thought I tested sleeping on it and its actually fairly comfortable as a futon as well. I love the modern look and the quality seems pretty good too. Was definitely a good buy especially for the price
Its is nice looking , easy to put together , not the most comfortable but the quality is not great I can easily rip , break a leg or some other thing may happen.
This is a very nice, long sofa. It has a modern look and is very sharp in appearance. I find the sofa comfortable, and roomy. My only recommendation is to be aware that every stain shows because this fabric is not treated and is a linen material. Even small spots do not come out with my most trusted cleaner and steaming. For this reason, be aware that you might need a cover if you purchase in the off white tone.
Ascetically this couch is beautiful, and its my fault for not reading the material contents, but I am pretty bummed at the synthetic feel of this piece. It could almost pass for patio furniture. On another note the giant box it comes in was very difficult to manage. We live in a granny flat where our packages are delivered to a front house...and in maneuvering this box to our front door, handles wouldve been helpful on the box. It was big and heavy.... and awkward to carry. Once we got the piece in the house and started to set up it really wasnt a very hard however there are some steps that should be reversed. In step two I believe, you are asked to put on the arms of the couch, and then you were asked to put it facedown flat, to put the legs on. This makes no sense at all, it cannot lay flat with the arms on. In the diagram it shows the couch laying flat with no arms on. I had to sit with my legs underneath the couch so that it wasnt buckling in the middle, while the legs were screwed on.
Overall, it looks beautiful and its in the spare bedroom so its ok... But I dont think Id ever buy a piece of this furniture for my main space

In LOVE
I live in a preassembled tiny house. Fit perfect in my living space and added extra sleeping. Firm but comfortable adorable color! Love the futon!
Poor quality , good looks not that uncomfortable

Comfortable and stylish, but shows stains easily.

Install the legs first and then the arms
