This chair is wonderful! The leather is so soft and comfortable. And the chair is large - my granddaughter was able to curl up in it right away. The legs come in a hidden compartment underneath and are no problem to attach. The loose pillow at the back can zip off if there is a need. Totally thrilled with the design, the color and texture of the leather, the workmanship and the comfort - not at all stiff like so many other leather chairs. Arrived well packed and protected in perfect condition.
The Aiden tufted mid-century leather chair, made in China comes in a large box and needs some minor assembly. The legs are stored in the interior of the seat, with zippered access. Assembly basically included unscrewing the legs from the interior and screwing them into the holes on the bottom of the chair. Then the rear pillow is set into place. The assembled chair measures 35 square and about 32 tall.
The rear pillow just rests into place without Velcro or anything to keep it in place. The pillow stays in place for the most part, but can easily be toppled over. The chair back and the pillow do have a fabric area to help reduce slippage. Velcro could be added to this area if pillow movement becomes an issue for you.
I should have measured my spot before selecting this chair. Now that I have the chair, I realized that its too deep for where I wanted to place it. I have an alternative spot where it fits, its just not where I initially intended to place the chair.
If you like mid-century modern furnishings, the Aiden tufted mid-century leather chair is a beautiful and well-built option to consider. The design is spot on, the chair is comfortable, and the leather brings it all together.
PROS:
Simple assembly
Hardwood frame
1 year warranty
CONS:
Large footprint
I received these last week and I could not be more happy with them. They are beautiful. I was so impressed with the quick shipping and packaging. They were in a protective drawstring furniture bag sealed in a sturdy box. I was a little nervous when I saw the size of the box on the front porch because they were delivered on a day my husband had duty, so I had to bring them in the house myself and up a small set of stairs into the livingroom. Nothing was moved out of place. No scratches or flaws. They were so easy to put together. It honestly took me longer to get them out of the box then it did to put them together, and there were no tools required. I compromised on the darker color (slate) with my husband (I wanted lighter ones) but with two dogs and a small kiddo it just fits better with our lifestyle. I was a little worried about the size and the width, but thats not an issue, theres plenty of room. I highly recommend them and would definitely purchase them again.
This is truly a beautiful piece of furniture. I have to say it definitely looks better in person than pictures. I love that it came in one carton and a panel underneath the chair contained the legs which were easy to screw in. It is very soft and comfortable. I think the description should reflect that its recline level is farther away from straight back however. At 5 7, I feel like Im leaning way back when I sit in it. But it is a very cozy reading chair along with an ottoman. The material on the chair is velvety!
Assembly was very simple. Unzip the panel, unscrew the four legs, zip the panel and install the legs.
The material is very soft with a plush nap that runs smoothly and flows from piece to piece. Its really well made with rolled/reinforced edging. You can flip the back cushion. The bottom cushion is generously sized and has a grid design on it that is modern and attractive. The sides are padded and very comfortable. We find ourselves leaning against them and sitting sideways in the chair for indulging in conversation. The cats like to sit on the arms. The seat is quite firm and the entire thing feels very solid and sturdy.
The grey color is a cool neutral tone.
I really like that the back is tailored and finished so that it can sit as an island in a room and still look great.
Im impressed. It arrived in a single large carton that was well designed to deliver a full sized chair. (It had reinforced handles.)
First of all, if you are a person over the height of 56, you might want to stop reading now and look elsewhere as this chair is quite small and not built for tall or heavyweight people. I just received two of these chairs and wanted to share with you the pros/cons listed below:
PROS: the chair(s) arrived quickly, in excellent condition, and very well packaged so kudos to the seller!, it was super easy to put together (5 minutes) and required no tools at all--it came in 4 parts which included (1) the back of the chair (slides right into the base of the chair--easy!), (2) the base of the chair (the legs--part 3--a pack of four comes in a plastic bag in a zippered compartment underneath the chair base), and finally, (4) the seat cushion. The chair is very sturdy and the legs are strong and screw into the bottom base of the chair easily. The chair looks great, nice color, and is well made. Now to the CONS: the material is soft and warm to the touch but doesnt feel like regular chair fabric, it feels more like car seat fabric which is not terrible but just odd (to me at least), the chair is really small which is a pro and a con, pro because it fits beautifully into small spaces and is suitable for people 56 or under (I am in that height category so good for me), con because even for a small person like me I cannot rest my head on the back of the chair and the chair is quite stiff so its forces you to sit with good posture (not comfy but bearable), the seat cushion is also stiff and has no give to it so the overall feel of sitting in this chair is more like a doctors office chair (great for a short period of sitting only). I like the chairs and will keep them but, to be honest, I think for the price I would have been better off buying from a used furniture store where I could try out the chairs. However, if you want a good, strong, sturdy chair that looks great, fits into a small space, and only needs to serve the purpose of short-term sitting or just to be decorative then these are not bad. I am curious to see how they hold up over time and if they become more comfortable as they wear in. I hope this helps you to make an informed decision.
My review falls in line with pretty much all the others. It was inexpensive, but does the job! Its not very big, which is what I was looking for.(I just wanted a smaller chair for the corner of our bedroom.) If you need something super durable for prolonged daily use, this isnt it, but as a cute little accent piece- its perfect.

Lovely chairs. We ordered three for our clinic, and love them.
Very good looking, modern, generously sized seat.
