I absolutely love this cabinet It was so easy to put together. Took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The instructions were very easy to follow. Its sturdy and strong and looks really nice!!
Im surprised that the unit wasnt more damaged when it arrived. The box that the cabinet was in was far too large, and looked like someone had dropped it multiple times and then kicked it across the pavement. The box had been repaired many times with tape so I guess an attempt was made. The cabinet itself had a lot of dings, scratches and one edge of the top enamel was chipped very badly (you can see the layers of particle board). The glass was okay though. Decided to keep because it would be too much hassle to try to return.
I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Love that it is only 13 and doesnt consume the room. Super easy to put together. The only problem I had was that the screw provided one of the door pulls would not tighten. I would recommend providing a few extra parts just in case this happens. I was lucky that I had one from another project that worked.
I bought this for my office. Box was not damaged. Packed very well. Each piece clearly marked. Easy to follow directions. Only needed a screwdriver and small hammer. Size given is accurate. Looks great! Had one issue with one door pull where screw was stripped. Easy fix.
Cabinet came in a damaged package but packing foam protected unit/a plus. One cam would not tighten completely, the glass for one door was cut oo short for pins to hold on one corner and the cast handles were two different sizes so we need to buy handles. One handle was 3 3/4 inches center to center hole and one was 3 1/2 inches center to center hole. Looks nice and it replaces a sauder cd cabinet and wood looks better but top is a different shade of oak then sides or front but still matches other in dining room and all of our woodwork so I really am not too upset.
I paid for shipping for this cabinet even though it was eligible for free shipping because I wanted to receive it quickly and make sure it would fit my purpose: a china cabinet in my dining room, among oak . If not, Id send it back asap and keep looking. I was not disappointed, instead happily surprised at how well its simple lines and medium color fit in (its stained pine, MDF and veneer). It arrived early, everything intact upon inspection despite a punch in the outside box (worried about glass doors, they were fine), and it was one of the best/organized assemble/yourself packages Ive encountered. Everything extremely well packed and protected, parts box attached with a red ribbon inside the box, and all small parts separated into sections in a plastic container within that box (thank you). All cabinet pieces labeled by sticker, easy to follow instructions and just pick the right piece to proceed. Assembly took about 2 hours altogether, cabinet is sturdy (plastic pads on leg bottoms to protect floor), perfect for china display (shelves are about 10 1/2 deep), handles are brass tone, which fit in with other decor, and because it has simple lines it fit with arts crafts decor. The only issue is that doors touch at top (can still close and open) and gap a bit at bottom, fixable only if hinge screws are redrilledbut I can live with that, not all that noticeable. Altogether, an excellent value for the , I took a chance and it paid off. If you want a small, compact cabinet with glass doors, nice medium wood tone/grain, for a variety of uses, at a very reasonable price, this is a really good one.
This cabinet is fairly sturdy and an attractive piece of . It came well packaged. All the parts were included, which is always a plus. The diagrams for assembling are clear. It does take a fair amount of time to assemble, but the finished product is worth it.
