I absolutely love my bed! I decided to use the tallest setting for the headboard, and I'm also using my box springs, even though it's not necessary. I just prefer a taller bed. The storage drawers are great, but they have a grated bottom, so you might want to put something in them to prevent items from dragging on the floor. I use one drawer to store sheets, socks, undergarments, and pajamas. The bed was easy to assemble, and I'm very happy with my purchase.
I was looking for a bed that could accommodate an adjustable base and provide storage. After some online shopping, I realized that finding a bed with drawers that lined up perfectly with the base and the frame supports would be a challenge. To solve this problem, I decided to modify the drawers by using the included drawer fronts and wheels, and adding an aftermarket basket that I could customize to my needs. With the adjustable base, I didn't need to install the support slats on the bed frame, only the side rails. Putting the bed together with the help of a teenager took about an hour.
I love this bed! Even though it took a lot of work to put it together, it was not difficult, making the price very reasonable. It is sturdy and looks pretty good. There was a tiny little slash at the top of the headboard, which I sewed to prevent further damage. My only issue is that the headboard is much lower than it appears in the picture. One of the reasons I bought the bed was for the taller headboard, so I plan to ask my husband to alter it somehow.
This bed frame is impressively sturdy and has a great aesthetic appeal. However, we did encounter some difficulties during assembly, spending around 5 hours to put it together. Additionally, the frame sits quite low, and the headboard is not adjustable, making it impossible to use a boxspring and still have a visible headboard. The drawers underneath the bed are not attached, and moving the bed too much can cause them to fall apart. Although there is one screw to keep the drawers closed, they were advertised as locking drawers, which is not entirely accurate. Lastly, we were under the impression that the bed frame was entirely made of metal, but the planks are made of wood. Overall, we are satisfied with our purchase because of its sturdiness, but we wish that the issues mentioned above could be improved.
