We bought this this for our 3 yr. old grandaughter. It sits low to the ground. Check the weight limit all the metal is is hollow in the suports I would not let older kids heavier the 100 pounds sit on or use, that's just my opinion.
Perfect for my 5-year-old daughter, however, there isn't a lip on the frame that prevents the mattress from sliding right off. Put it up against a wall if you have little kiddos who really like to slide into bed because they will slide right off the other side mattress and all!
If you're picky about the look of it, we got the white frame and there are no screw caps of any kind to disguise assembly screws, so there are sizable silver screws/nuts ( the size of your thumb) that are just stuck out everywhere on the frame. But, it's for our 5-year-old so we don't care much.
Other than that, speedy delivery, very easy assembly, not a scratch, scrape or bend on it.
Best is amazing, the only thing I was disappointed with was its more of a gray than dark gray/black. But over all its adorable and perfect for my kids.
I didn't mean to order the one I got, I just wanted the bottom frame. But, my sister loves it and loves how comfortable it is with the mattress we got last year. We had a family reunion and everyone that slept on it absolutely slept very well one it. Thank you, when we finish our house we will be doing all our ordering this coming September.
Sturdy and not difficult to assemble. I also found the gap that others mentioned during the build, but it resolved once I started tightening everything. Only con after 2 months of use, is its to low. I will likely add a box spring just for the additional height.
