I had ordered the "Used in very good condition" offering. Typically, this is a great way to save a few bucks and get what you are looking for. This was not one of those times. The item should never have been shipped back out in the condition it was in. There was multiple broken and splintered area as well as legs broken off and a hole in the back. It was sent back immediately. This was very disappointing as it would have been a lovely piece if it were not damaged, and the color was just as I expected more of an aqua blue. I have purchased items from Powell furniture in the past and have been very satisfied with the items. The fact that the item comes assembled is a plus as well. I would probably be giving the item 5 stars if it did not arrive in such terrible condition, but that is the chance you take when you order "used in very good condition" items.
This cabinet is really nice and well-made. It was carefully packaged but still came with a chip of paint off the top front corner. The main problem is that it's advertised as antique blue. It's definitely not blue - it's more of a gray-green color. Packing it back up to return looks like a major project, so I'll probably keep it and paint it. If you want something that looks good with blue, you might want to pick the gray version.
I believe I got the very last distressed silver cabinet, which I wanted for its added height (38 inches) as much as anything else. The item came well-packed and with very clear instructions; I was easily able to assemble everything on my own except the doors. The machining and pre-drilled holes were accurate and everything came together pretty well. My doors were actually perfect until I had to fix for the extreme wobble; now it doesn’t wobble much at all, but there is a gap between the doors at the top and one side is a little difficult to open. The back panel also doesn’t meet flush with the backsides of the shelves in all spots.
Bottom line: You get what you pay for — and this is actually a better deal than most for the price. All in all, I’m happy with it, since it didn’t cost much and is definitely on the unique side for this kind of piece. I plan to use as a liquor / wine cabinet in my kitchen. which should help offset its tendency to tip forward (because the doors are so much heavier than everything else).
This is a cute little cabinet. It's not blue, though, more of a sage green, but I like it and I am keeping it. It's perfect for in my master bath so the things I use can be in my master bath, instead of in the hall bath closet.
The front carved doors are nice, however, the rest of the cabinet is lacking. Paint is so weak it is hardly painted, on top of which, are scratches and chips. The knobs were chipped, as well. We put it together, so I will keep it. I believe I will paint it, with the exception of the doors. Knobs are easy to replace. It fits my space and my needs, just don't look too closely! Unless you don't mind painting it, I really couldn't recommend it.
I needed something in my kitchen that I could store things in and this piece fit the bill. It is not too big yet has a lot of storage inside. The distressed look gives it a farmhouse vibe. It wasn't difficult to assemble.
Cheap materials, workmanship was awful. My husband assembled it & said “I hope you didn’t pay much for this because it’s crap.” Parts & pieces didn’t line up, doors don’t close & don’t align like they should. Random paint marks where they shouldn’t be, paint flakes & rubs off.
This is a beautiful cabinet, but I was disappointed that it arrived damaged. It is really well packaged, but it was still broken on the front corner. It comes completely assembled which is a plus.

It's more green than blue

Shoddy workmanship & materials! Horrible.

It is very nice but
The cabinet is nice and everything, but some confusion with assembling. Also half of it feels like cardboard. I guess it’s OK but not worth the $200.
