It is impossible to get a mattress to fit the trundle bed because it is only 70 inches long. I found a 72" pad but it was much too narrow. It doesn't seem sturdy and the you need to be aware that the weight limit is 250 pounds on the top bunk and trundle beds. For the price it is a good purchase for infrequent use and for children.
Great bunk bed looks nice and uniformed when put together. Takes 3 people to put together takes approximately 2-3 hours to build but very easy. I used an 8” memory foam mattress and it’s comfortable. The only bad part is that it does squeak more than I’d like but all in all it came super fast within a week and nothing was missing and the price was fair. Great buy and believe me I shopped around this was it

The metal is very delicate and bends easily. Not suitable for anyone that weighs less than 100 lbs.
The material is very delicate and it is not sturdy. It was easy to assemble, looks great but it not sturdy enough.
Great value and convenient
We are using these for our camp and it’s perfect. Sturdy, sleeps three, took about two hours to put together.

Item came defective with no way to secure the ladder. So, I had to do this step myself. I would not buy this item again!!
