As expected, may small components needed to be put together so it took quite a long time to finish it (approx 3hrs). The manual was quite good, it allowed me to complete the bed from first try, with only one small error. If I were to look for a problem, the only one I can think of is that the allen key used for most of the assembly is very small and my hands and fingers were hurting a bit after finishing. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind.
Overall, the bed is great so far, I cant find anything bad worth mentioning.
I bought this bed for my grand kids. I weigh 160Lbs and I sat at bottom of bed, heard a pop. I thought maybe I had broken something. I checked and it was fine. I have also laid on the bed since the pop and it was fine; however, I have to admit that pop has me a little afraid to let my guards down.
Says it has a 450 lb weght capacity, I weigh 200 lb (husband). Went to lay down next to my 3 yr old daughter and a wooden slat broke. Dont see where you can contact seller to get a new one. Please contact us to get a replacement piece. Thanks.

Assembly took about 5 hours, the most time Ive spent assembling anything in my life. Its going to be awful to take apart and put back together if I ever move it.
Overall the assembly instructions werent that difficult to follow, but there were a lot of bolts to keep track of and I recommend at least two people to put the bed together. The hinges on mines were slightly bent so it made the task of screwing them in and having the sides of the bed aligned properly difficult but I still managed the task by using a bit of muscle. Lifting the bed/frame is way enough with the hydraulic lift but closing it can be difficult. When testing the lifting machinism beforeI put on the mattress on the frame, I found that you have to use a good deal of force behind closing it (enough that I was afraid Id accidentally break it) but once I placed the mattress on it, it was significantly easier to close. Maybe all it needed was a little extra weight evenly distributed throughout. I love the extra built in storage space and am surprised at how sturdy it feels so far.
After some confusion about delivery (it was late, and came in 2 separate boxes a week apart, and no one seemed to know much about it), I love this bed. I was able to assemble it myself. All the pieces were clearly marked and the directions were easy to follow. Way easier than furniture!! The bed has a clean look that is perfect in my room!
