For the price, this fits the bill. This was perfect for a teenager. Added some led strips to fancy it up. Assembly was simple enough. Instructions were a bit on the confusing side. But managed to pull it though. Overall, great product, just a bit concerned on the sturdiness and longevity of the product. Only time will tell. It is beautiful and functional.

The middle support bar broke after using the bed for less than a month and now my mattress sags in the middle. Not happy that it failed so quickly. Its a nice design though.

Very easy to assemble. If youve ever put together furniture, it should be a breeze. Looked at the manual to lay out all of the parts and to get the head/foot board ends on facing the proper direction, otherwise it was common sense. All hardware was accounted for. a refreshing treat after the dresser Id bought (different manufacturer/seller) had a single screw missing and I had to wait about a week to get the replacement in the mail before using one of the drawers. Only tool needed besides the allen wrenches that came with it was a phillips screw driver. It mentions a rubber mallet, however I simply used my fist to get those parts together.
