Absolutely adorable and beautiful bed. It was easy to assemble by myself, although the instructions could be clearer. There are also no holes for the slats to be screwed in. So you just screw them in yourself using a power drill.
We love this transition to a floor bed. My 1 year old can easily get in and out of this bed as its only about 3 inches off the ground.
Other people had told me they didnt like the side railings at the top because they hit them. But Ive never had this issue. Im 58 and my husband is 6 and neither of us have hit our heads on it. Love the finished product!!
I got impatient waiting for a man to come build it so me and my 9year old took on the task. The directions were pretty simple as far as the steps but lacked details. For instance, the indented groves where the screws go, they all need to be facing the same direction. We put the wrong wooden poles on the wrong side. The screw holes were facing opposite directions which required us to take it apart and reassemble. The entire bed is put together with an Allen wrench. If you have a power tool with that attachment youll be good to go. We did it by hand and our fingers hate us! The wooden slates that hold up the mattress is put together with a screw driver. This definitely taught me being an independent woman is not always fun lol. The bed is perfect and low to the ground. My 1 year old loves it and her big brothers tried to take over her room. I ordered an 8 inch memory foam mattress from Wayfair to go with it. 8/10 inches is recommended for this bed. I think 10 inches wouldve made it too high. Its definitely worth purchasing but use power tools and a man if possible lol. Im pleased with my purchase.
This product is incredibly poorly made. After unboxing all of pieces and started assembly, multiple screw holes were not pre/drilled properly. The receiving board holes were pre/drilled too big or not deep enough which did not allow for proper construction. The top and sides were loose even after full assembly.
Multiple slats had splits at the ends, not allowing me to properly attach them to the bed frame.
On top of all of that, the instruction manual was incredibly difficult to discern and pictures contradicted each other making assembly a nightmare.
Do yourself a favor and just order something from IKEA for the price. Dont recommend this product.
Pros: affordable, cute, fits the mattress well, as sturdy as would be expected for the price although I wouldnt let my kids hang on it or anything. My husband didnt have any issues with assembly.
Cons: one of the main reasons I chose this one was that in the stock photo it looks like theres a gap between the bed frame and the floor. While there is slats and a slight gap on the ends, its not an all around gap like I had hoped. Good product and definitely a value of a purchase.
Alright , let me start by saying this was a pain in the butt. The only thing clear on assembly was the letters on the wood, and the hardware numbered. If you are shorter than 55 might want some help holding the top boards while you screw/in the bolts. That said, I did manage to get it put together.
Not sure why the the top boards didnt come with dowels since there are holes for them but only 16 dowels provided. It would make it more sturdy for sure. Wood is pretty crappy and one bolt/screw split the board, so I put that board at the tippie top. Definitely not for your kids to climb on. After you, read the directions and then re read them its not too bad to put together. They are worse than ikea. Took me about 2 1/2 hours.
Next , the mattress frame boards do not come with pre hole marks for placement on the frame. Dumb. It says 300 mm apart at this one section. I suggest looking at the pictures of the product and scrolling down till you see the mattress frame. Then line up your boards like theirs and forget the directions.
Find yourself a different Allen wrench. The one they provide either has to be the dumbest thing or mine came broken. Im giving it a 3 because it was such a pain but it does look pretty darn cute and its low to the ground. Definitely a good starter bed for toddlers. so you get what you pay for.
Im not impressed but also not upset. Wish it felt a little more sturdier. Also, there is about a two inch gap between the bed and the frame all the way around. When arrived paint was chipped off the wood. My son seems to enjoy it tho. I feel that I will at least get MY moneys worth. I wouldnt purchase if you have older kids that might try to climb in the frame as it isnt sturdy at all. however I would not recommend anyone buy this.
So i always liked these beds for toddlers so i was excited to receive it. When i screwed in one of the screws a piece of wood came out the other end and i contacted the seller and sent me it immediately! I honestly was so shocked i didnt have to go back and forth but we are obsessed!!Ive been taking naps with my baby in this bed thats how much i love it Beautiful color good quality
It honestly ended up looking like it was just pieces of wood randomly thrown together to attempt to make something like a bed. Not sturdy either honestly a waste of money. Looks nice in the picture but in person not so much. not satisfied with product

Cute Bed
This bed is super cute. Two things though its a pain to put together and it needs a bunnies board which was hard to find. Happy with purchase
