If yours isnt working then click the P button on the remote control. The red light shouldnt be blinking. Im convinced everyone will run into this issue and have trouble figuring it out.
There really isnt a difference in speed from 6v to 12v, so no need spending the extra money.

The remote control option is perfect! The speed is perfect for my two year old. The Bluetooth speaker option is awesome she is currently riding her car jamming to her favorite song Down by the bay. She love her car!! I Most definitely recommend this to anyone with small kiddos. The car arrived with a small defected contacted seller and they were so quick to respond and sent us a replacement. Great customer service. I was not disappointed with my purchase.
Ive had these long enough now to write a review. Five stars. Theyve held up through lots of bumping and good times. I ordered two. They came with remotes. My g/grandkids discovered they could trade remotes and the results were hilarious! I pushed back the chairs in the room and gave them a big place to play and I sat and laughed!
So far we love it. Delivery was quicker than expected, packaging was great. And for what it is (a childs toy) I thought it was pretty good quality. I purchased the 12v because my dad recommend it. He also advised me not to charge it for long periods at a time, basically not to plug it and forget it, or it will damage the battery. And sure enough when I read the instructions it said to charge between 8/12hrs and cautions not to exceed 20. Im really hoping this is the main reason some people are having bad experiences. I mean besides the few that may have actually received duds as all products do. From the return date I saw looks like I got exactly a 1month window. Well see. I plan to update this review the minute I have problems with it so if this review remains unedited it means ours is still working fine.

Just wanted to say its still going strong. There was one incident when I thought it broke down but turned out it was just the charger. Found one in the house with the same plug and tried my luck, so glad I did before concluding the actual toy wasnt working.
