Perfect for our 1940s tiny living room. Not big enough to cuddle on, but it is easy to turn into a futon to solve that problem. Easy to wipe clean. The only complaint is by my husband. The middle apparently has a hard spot if you sit down too hard. Buy with confidence
As a sofa, it looks great. It is average comfort level for sitting on it as a sofa. Not cushy that I would want to sit on it for hours at a time binge/watching TV, but fine for when you have guests over for a while. The fold out bed leaves a lot to be desired. It folds out easy enough, but is very uncomfortable. Im so unhappy with this product.
This futon/couch is beautiful. It is very pretty to look at. It is very hard though! Idk how comfortable it is to sleep on yet. It definitely gives my guest bedroom/office a classy look. I am very happy with the look. It was very easy to assemble and is easy to convert from couch to bed. But so far, Im a happy buyer!
Love this sofa! Very firm and nice to sit on. My only regret is the back is a little lower than I would prefer but its very comfortable. Havent had an overnight guest on it yet, will update when we do. Great value for the price. Very simple and beautiful design.
I love this couch! It was easy to put together. I use it in the futon position very frequently for my kiddo to nap on and it converts in a flash. It is such a great value for the price and looks polished. I am so happy with this purchase. Very sturdy It is just excellent!!
We recently, within the last year, acquired this same design sofa but in a settee design and it does not fold down. This is a perfect addition as it lays down into a sofa bed, if needed. We can even choose to recline the sofa if we want to. The couch is comfortably upholstered and has a very nice antique design that reminds me of my great/grandmothers furniture. The back seating of the couch is tufted whereas the rest of the couch is a straight velvet design and is slightly easier to keep clean than our settee that is completely tufted. There is a durable and stable wooden frame to the couch which makes the overall design comfortable and safe. I would not necessarily say that assembly is quick and easy as there was some assembly required and took a little bit of time and effort for me to complete. The couch is quite long and would not serve as a love/seat design. The couch is overall incredibly gorgeous. I love the quality, comfort, and value of this couch! I am so happy to be able to add it to our collection; I just needed a larger home for more of these additions! no regrets at all for this purchase
For this price point this is a very good buy. The couch is very well made and sturdy. You can see in the photos the stitching is good on the corners (and everywhere), the legs are solid wood, the legs that go under the fold have metal backings for extra support.
This comes to you folded in a square, its kind of neat and everything is well protected. It does take two people to assemble it easily, you can accomplish this by yourself but it is difficult. Moving it is pretty easy, while it is solid you two people can carry this with no trouble, or one person can slide it.
The back of the couch can be adjusted to be at the full upright position, an angle, or laying flat when using as a sleeper. This is pretty comfortable to sit on. This isnt our main couch, its in a sitting room and it looks good in it. Please note that this isnt a full three cushion couch it has 2 cushions.
Overall, this is one of the better beginner couches I have seen. The material is soft, does NOT have that funky microfiber feel and looks good. The couch itself is well made and easy to convert to a sleeper if needed. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
When we opened up the box for this couch all we could say was, Wow. For a couch that comes in a box in the mail, this is worth every penny you pay. First, if you are looking for a couch you can sink into or will start to sag within weeks of receiving it; then you need to purchase something else. This is a couch you sit on if you need to sit up straight or fold down to have a firm bed to sleep on.
The couch works for our family because soft furniture throws our backs out. The second thing that we loved about this was how easy it was to install, you fold it out then screw some legs on and you are done. Third, the material is soft and swanky, The style is contemporary and fun. It gives our living room a modern vibe. For the price, this is as good as anything you get at IKEA, Walmart, or Target but my suspicion is it will last longer.
The one complaint I have is that the assembly was hindered somewhat by the screws that had to be screwed into the arms. The area inside of the couch is very limited in some places so this made the job last a lot longer than it should have, plus I got one blood blister, and two cracked knuckles in the process. Still, the couch is absolutely gorgeous, and everyone loves sitting on it. Excellent for what I need
