The bed is great as most other reviewers wrote. My son loves it and everyone gives me a praise. It did come with some defective parts like many other reviewers wrote. One of the under support rails was bent and did not fit into the grooves / no problem, I just took a couple of plyers to bend it back until it finally fit.
The second issue was a broken end cap. It looks like a cheap plastic part and feels very fragile. I contacted the company and asked to send me a replacement part. It has been three months and still no replacement. I dont know why it is so hard for them to pick it out of their part bin and mail it to me. I will update my review once I receive the replacement part.
Update on 5/15/2021
I finally received the replacement part but it took them seven months and I had to send email reminders every month to check on the status. They must have just one person working at the customer service and quality assurance departments. It is unfortunately for a company who otherwise produces great products.
For those who received broken parts like I did, you can contact the company website and you will probably receive the part eventually, but you would have to be very patient and expect a long waiting time before they resolve the issue. Needs improvement in quality.
This bed was so hard to put together. The instructions were awful. The paint chipped off super easy. After finally assembling the bed, it does look nice and my daughter loved it. Overall you got what you paid for.
I feel like it could use some bracing as it is slightly wobbly. The directions are not clear as to which side is up or goes where but we eventually figured it out. My 12yr old is very happy. Good and inexpensive
I got this loft bed a couple days ago and let me tell you that this is probably the best one youll ever get. In this picture I dont have a mattress, but now I do and its very stable. Im kinda on the bigger side and Im also tall and it still supports me really well. The limit says its 250 pounds but Im sure this could support 300/350 easily. Theres also plenty of room for my desk underneath and so putting this thing together was very easy, it took around an hour, but its worth it!!! I like this one.
This bed took a highly skilled carpenter 2 hours to assemble with an electric drill.
It is mildly squeaky and it does sway a bit if youre climbing in or turning over.
The ladder is painful to step on because its just bars. Its challenging to get from the bars into the bed over the railing.
I think its a great bed if youre in a pinch and need something affordable that youre only going to use for a few years.
Also, the carpenter who set up the bed told me I will need to retighten the screws periodically.
The extra space it saves me is worth its quirks. Hope to improve in the future
My niece needed more floor space in her room so we decided to get this bed. Turns out the bed is really sturdy and fit perfectly. The ceiling isnt too high so this bed is the perfect height for the room. It looks so nice and is worth every penny of the price.
I actually ordered one for my other nieces room this week. And once my daughter is old enough I will be getting her one also. Very cute, looks just like the pictures.
My seven year old daughter is a hurricane of destruction and I was apprehensive about her destroying this until I got it assembled yesterday. It weighs a ton, is ALL with no plastic structural parts (there are a few plastic non/structural parts), and feels like it could take a direct hit from a missile. Even a lot of all furniture can be flimsy and easy to bend/dent, but not this bed.
I fully expect to use it with her until she outgrows it and then give it to my younger son after a few coats of spray paint. Dont spend more than this just to get a horrible particleboard IKEA travesty. This will last 100x longer AND it costs less money. Just as pictured very happy with my purchase.
Very sturdy! The mint color is beautiful in person and doesnt seem like it will chip since its on . We had one gray cap that was cracked so we put that in a corner that isnt seen. I have laid on the bed with my daughter and felt very safe. For the price I highly recommend! Style and purpose
The bed went together as easily as expected. Two end caps were broken in the box with no obvious damage to the shipping box and it appeared to have been handled with reasonable care in shipping. They cover the open ends of the larger box tubing that make up the main legs. I reached out to the company as the instructions directed, and they ultimately told me Id need to contact for a full replacement unit. Its already assembled so Im not taking it apart for a replacement. Im sure I can find end caps in that size, but they are a light grey color that compliments the bed and other hardware, so I bet thats going to be hard to find. So in the end, customer service through the company was useless. Its a nice color and the finish (paint/powder coat.) was even and the rest of the hardware was there. It shifts/rocks a little, but is as sturdy as any other loft/bed Ive experienced around this price. I was actually pretty disappointed.
its a very nice bed. Climbing up the ladder did hurt, i cut open a pool noodle foam and glued it on the ladder. i did have to cut half of the little gate that connects from the bed to the ladder, i didnt like the feeling of climbing over the gate bc it would grab my thigh like i was pushing myself down a slide in shorts. i also used the poles under the bed to hang my plants Decent for the price

Chips way too easy

Great loft for the price.

Aming quality! Nothing wrong.

Great for small rooms

Built like a tank. Totally overbuilt for the price.

Difficult process if parts are damaged or missing.
