I had low expectations based on the other reviews, but this chair is sturdy and very comfortable! Im 52 and I can place my feet flat on the floor while seated, with good lower back support.
My biggest complaint is the difficulty in installing the crossbeam support. Youll need to feel along the top cross bars of the legs to find slots cut into them, then place the ends of the crossbeam into the slots.

We needed a reading chair that would fit in a corner, not taking up a lot of space. This is surprisingly comfortable for a couple of hours with a book. I would suggest a footstool, otherwise there is some pressure on the back of your thighs (depending on your height), not as bad as a folding camp chair though. Its not ideal for extended laptop use, as its a bit narrow where your elbows likely fall and if you dont use a footstool a laptop would have to balance on your knees.
Also very easy to move between rooms or between homes. For the price, its a great buy.
Super easy to screw in 4 legs, sturdy and comfortable. We play to use these in the salon under portable dryers as a different take on the old dryer chair. Love them!

Comfy reading chair in minimal space
