We love this bed! It was NOT hard to put together. My husband assembled it in about 2 hours taking his time. It could have a little better support in the middle slats, so he added one brace down the middle slat supports. We already have a TempurPedic mattress with their base, otherwise you would want to get plywood as a base under your mattress and screw that to the slats. A standard mattress and traditional box spring would be too tall, use plywood instead of the box spring.
All the hardware was perfect, instructions are adequate for anyone who can assemble a Lego set. If youre not mechanically inclined you can still figure it out easily. The drawers could be bigger, but we left the drawer retainer pegs off so you can completely remove them and stash stuff under the bed. The nail buttons on the headboard are a bit out of alignment in spots but could be pulled and redone if it bugs me. For this price we just needed something nice, not high end. Great value, fast shipping, everything we needed. Should be plenty sturdy for bedroom exercise activities, too. Good product and definitely a value of a purchase.
We purchased this bed in charcoal grey shortly after Christmas. It arrived after the new year, but be prepared for it to not arrive all at once. Ours came in 3 boxes on 2 separate days, which was somewhat inconvenient as we prepared our bedroom to build the new bed. It took us quite some time to assemble. But all in all, we are pleased with the quality and the drawers provide great extra storage space. Beautiful color good quality
Found it was tricky to put together as the instructions came on a one sided 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper with no words. The pictures were small and gave minimal detail. I also already had a box spring and mattress which dont exactly both fit on the frame. The mattress cannot be pushed all the way back so it hangs off of the box spring in the end about an inch or two. Overall I am happy with it but these are the few critiques I had that I would change about it if I were able to. Perfect size and color for my needs.
Well, this looks great but isnt very good quality. The drawer guides keep coming apart. Had to take the mattress off the bed a couple times now and insert longer screws to keep things together. My biggest complaint is it shows the bed with just a mattress on it / no box spring. But it only comes with 3 slates to keep the mattress up / not enough support. And my daughter only weighs about 100 lbs so that isnt the problem. If we had added a box spring, it would have been too high and covered most of the pretty headboard. So I had to go online and purchase additional slats in order to hold up the mattress. These slats ended up being about a 1/2 too short, so they were a huge pain to attach to the frame and if they werent attached, they fell off and did no good. Also, there isnt a support running the length of the bed to reinforce the cross wise slats. So still a pretty bed / just be prepared to buy extra slats and put in your own screws and dont expect it to be very sturdy. may be returning
I just finished assembling the bed. The drawers were in a thousand pieces, but easy to assemble. Just time consuming. One of the drawers seems to slip through the opening in the side rail. Not sure why. Otherwise, its a nice bed. Sturdy and looks great. Good bed for the price. I love it!!
Shipment came in several boxes, not all at the same time. Boxes were fairly damaged but all bed parts were in good condition. Husband put the bed together quickly, was easy to do. Drawers are larger than they appear in photos and offer excellent storage. The fabric on the headboard and bed is very nice, a light gray with a touch of white showing. We did use some wood to place under the mattress as we do not wish to use box springs any longer. Sturdy and very comfortable with my new mattress, looks great in the room. Would definitely buy again!
I bought this (queen size in Platinum) for my guest bedroom and Im happy with it. It took me quite a while to put it together but the instructions where quite good. This bedroom is small so I appreciate the under/bed storage it provides. The color matches the picture. very reasonably priced as well.
I ordered this Queen size storage bed for my daughter. It was easy to assemble and the final product looked gorgeous. Not only is it a beautiful bed but the added functionality of the spacious storage drawers is unbelievable. She can now utilize all of the wasted space under her bed. I highly recommend this product!! Cute and comfortable
The bedframe came quickly and arrived well packaged and not damaged. The color as stated above is much darker than I expected and was hoping for.
Set up went well thanks to reading the reviews and using an electric screwdriver. We couldnt imagine how long it would have taken if we did it by hand!
As others have stated, the slats are not very sturdy. We have a box spring and regular mattress so there is enough support. That being said, the bed is now VERY high. Thankfully we are both on the tall side. I joked with a friend that she will need a pole vault when the use our ski condo where this bed is located. Once the snow melts, we may purchase a new foam mattress and install plywood under for support.
The drawers are on casters and roomy and roll well. The material is just ok, but what we expected for the price.
One other issue is due to baseboard heating the bed is not flush against the wall and the head board is very flimsy. My husband is very handy and made extra supports for the back.
We would have exchanged for a different color if it was not such a hassle and we didnt have deadlines with renovations to meet. But other than that its nice

Charcoal color is very dark, more of a black than what I had expected.
