Just got it yesterday and me and my sister out it together and i will say it is wabbley and it shakes but the sturdiness of the bed is GREA it holds very well but when my sister climbs up top it dose shake. but not to a point where we fill that i will fall apart
I needed a Full on Full and those are extremely hard to find at this price. And it is perfect. Took me and my boyfriend a couple hours to get everything put together. It is a little wobbly so I will need to find a way to brace it to the wall just to be safe. But there is plenty of room between the bottom and top, and does not look cheap. I am very happy.
We needed an adult spot with possible youngster up top. This is perfect. Took husband and 7 year old grandson about 2 hours to put together. It is a little industrial with the black tubing. but everyone seems happy. Watch your mattress thickness for the top bunk or you will negate the safety bars. It is very stable. read other reviews that suggested it might be wobbly. we have not found that to be true. Was a fair price and everyone is happy.
Update 4 years later : After daily use by a rapidly growing teen this bed finally needs some TLC. The child is now 200lbs and a strapping adult, and a few of the metal slats under the bed have bent out of position. Probably best as a childs bed but it certainly held up well considering the abuse it took. We even had family visit and it had three adults sleeping on it for a weeken
Original review Dec 2017: I was looking for a twin over queen bunk bed for a room without too much success and was so glad to find this bed. In my case, the upper bunk is only used when we have visitors and need to use one of our kids bedrooms as a guest room.
The bed arrived surprisingly quickly compared to the shipping times posted online. However, after opening and assembling one the items in the box, we realized that there needed to be a second box with all the mattress bases to complete assembly. This was a little annoying since we had already given away my sons bed that afternoon. We assembled the frame, tossed his queen mattress on the floor and had him sleep there for the week that it took for the second box to catch up and arrive. So, if you order this bed and one big heavy box arrives, open it and make sure you have all the parts for the base before you build the fram This is pretty much my only reason for knocking one star off this review.
Assembly is super easy and the instructions are not too complicated. If you have assembled anything from Ikea you will be just fine assembling this bed. No squeaking so far it seems to be very sturdy. The queen latex mattress fits snugly and I have ordered a latex xl for the top bunk.
Ive seen other reviews mentioning some sort of cancer causing ingredient labeling on the product. The only warning labels on my package or bed related to the danger of getting wedged in the top bunk, horsing around irresponsibly and being too young for the bed.
Takes a while to assemble as there are many many pieces. But the final product is sleek and sturdy. Plus, I like how high the top bunk is above the bottom bunk. Didnt feel claustrophobic at all.
The bed was delivered sooner then expected. About a week early. It was easy to set up. In fact, my 2 teenaged daughters set it up. We are very pleased with the look and quality of this frame. It is very sturdy and it seems like it will last a long time. Measurements listed are very accurate and it looks even better then the pictures.

Things will initially move and loosen just a tad as you break it in.
You will need someone to help you assemble, but Im sure the truly determined can manage alone. Had to struggle a little to get the ladder lined up on one side as it seemed the piece was crooked. A GOOD TIP: DO NOT TIGHTEN AS SOON AS YOU ATTACH. LEAVE A LITTLE WIGGLE ROOM AS YOU LINE THINGS UP, THEN GO BACK AND TIGHTEN. Best to start laying the slats on top from one side to another first, then doing the bottom in the same fashion.
