Love this bunk bed. Was looking for something for my teen and pre teen daughters and went with this bc an adult can sit up on the bottom bunk with plenty of room. Top tho not so much. Thank goodness my 11yo doesnt mind. I was up there to make her bed and felt safe structure wise just wish it came down like 3 inches for head space. It was easy to set up, took myself my bf and 16yo a few hours. It doesnt shake as bad as i thought by other reviews so Im glad i ignored that. Probably helps to not screw everything tight until the end as we did. I also put pool noodle on the stair bars and on the bar across the bottom of the top bunk bc 16yo hit her head a couple times and the stairs are pinchy without it and it worked for both problems. Looks great in the room. I personally got a board from home depot and put that across the head of the bottom bunk so pillows didnt fall in the gap between the wall and frame/mattress and that did the trick too since our outlet was there. I also suggest using bunkie boards which dont come with. Great purchase. Went back and fourth with many different beds and i wish i had purchased this sooner.
Took about 3 hours to put together and it was much taller than I anticipated, but overall perfect for our growing teen boys. Ive seen alot of bad reviews before buying but Im glad I bought this and was able to form my own opinion about it. Yes it shakes when climbing up the attached ladder, but that should be expected with this tall of a bed. Yes the attached ladder could be uncomfortable on your feet but nothing to cry about.
Overall very satisfied and the boys love all the room they have now. Being that they had twin bunkbeds prior to this recent purchase.
It took a few hours to assemble with two people and two hex keys. The welds on the non/structural parts arent very good, and I had to put some superglue on them to stop them from squeaking. Not that it completely stopped the squeaking, you can still hear it in side to side movement. There were a few parts slightly shorter than what they were supposed to be, and a few dents here and there, but nothing that prevented assembly.
Its sturdy enough for a child to sleep on top, but not someone who moves a lot in their sleep or is heavier than 100 lbs, if you ask me. It sways side to side when someone is climbing up, so dont get it if youre a really light sleeper. Its what I expected for the price, and in the end I still sleep on it every day. Its alright for what it is, since you cant really get anything much better this cheap in this configuration.

This bed is very sturdy and holds weight very well. I needed to maximize the room space in a rental home, so I added this in the corner of the room. I slept on the bottom bunk with 3 kids and I was still comfortable (ages 10,9 and 8). I would suggest only buying a memory form mattress( mattress in a box ). Its not so heavy, so the bed holds more weigh.
I love the bunk bed was easy to put together after getting first side together. Looks like the picture and is sturdy. Only issue is I should have gotten a better size mattress because I thought the space between the beds wouldnt be a good size but it was. I recommend this.

I like the look of the bed and the assembly process my daughter does not like being on the top bunk because it sways a lot.

Better Instructions
The instructions dont say it but assembly should be done by 2 or More people. Also mark the 4 corner post more plannly
