So torn about this recliner. The good is quite good, but the bad evens it out.
First. It literally took less than 45 seconds to put together. The back slides on, then the wings on the back. Then cut the cloth strap holding the rocker underneath. Done.
And, it is very comfortable. Wide enough for an average overweight person, and feels up to the task, too. However, while the base cushion is nice and firm foam, the back feels like fiber/fill and already compresses and wrinkles some. I dont expect the back to stay nice and cushiony for very long.
The foot rest is very hard to close fully, and definitely not for elderly or weak legs. Worse than most recliners I have tried. Even gripping the arms and using my weight for leverage, it still takes me at least three tries to close the footrest enough to catch.
But. On the other hand, the action is smooth and really quiet for a recliner. No clunks or clicks as you rock or recline, and only the loud click as you finally get the footrest closed again. And the rocking is smooth and very easy.
The back lays down very flat, but if you are top/heavy and overweight, the whole recliner can be on the verge of tipping backwards if you are not careful.
Additionally, the fact that it lays back well also means it takes up a ton of additional room when it reclines. Not like higher/end recliners that shift forwards as they recline. So, you are not going to be able to put this recliner close to a wall or corner.
The fabric feels thin, but of average strength for modern furniture. I would not expect it to hold up well against pets, but should last like any mid/grade furniture.
What I love most. The dark gray. It is the perfect neutral gray, without strong brown or blue tones like most furniture. So it can really go with any decor regardless of your color tones. Im so unhappy with this product.
Chair is easy to assemble without any tools. I like that the chair not only reclines, but swivels and rocks as well. The chair is quite comfortable in the upright position / with plenty of support for both your seat and back. In the reclined position however, I find the back of the chair to short and my neck and head unsupported. I am on the tall side, and this may not be an issue for a shorter person, but I have to use a pillow or I end up with a sore neck. The overall quality of the chair is fair for the price. I do have apprehensions about the fabric. It feels quite thin, but so far I have had no problems. Looks great and works great!
I have been sitting in this chair pretty extensively for the past week.
Assembly was much easier than I expected it to be. There are just four pieces. They slide together in seconds. No tools required.
The fabric and padding and stitching all seem to be good quality, though its hard to really judge these things in such a short amount of time.
I find the chair to be pretty comfortable in the non/reclined position. It has a pleasant, smooth rocking motion. No squeaking or anything like that.
My biggest complaint is that the back seems shorter than on other recliners that I have used. When fully reclined I find my head rests on the very top of the chair back. This is comfortable enough if I want to take a nap, but if I want to keep my eyes on a TV or computer screen while in this position I have to lift my head a few inches off the chair back. That amount of effort is really the opposite of what Im looking for in a recliner! Im not a super tall person either (511). Someone well below average height might not have this problem with the chair.
Another problem is that you really need to kick the footrest pretty hard to get it to stay locked in the down position. I usually need two or three tries to get it right.
Overall I dont hate this chair. When not fully reclined it definitely gets the job done. There are a couple of annoying points I discussed above that would probably make me try a different model next time if I wanted another recliner. Good but not what I expected
ts a recliner, and its not horrible. but somewhat hard cushions, squeaky rotation and rocking and finally it doesnt feel that solid. I doubt that this chair will become anyones favorite place to relax.
It comes partially disassembled (but really easy to put together / no tools needed (see photo)
The blue color is a dark Muted color. It wont show dirt. The fabric is coarse feeling, but not the toughest upholstery material available.
Price as reviewed is about right for the quality. Debating if we are going to keep it or return it.
I love the color! The chair is comfortable. The chair sits a little high as I am only 53 so I have trouble touching the floor to rock it. The foot rest is hard to close until you stand up. But for the price it is a really good chair. Super easy to put together. Do not buy it you will regret it

Just okay, perhaps better for shorter people.
