I think you (and we) should add crossbars. Its awfully shaky, but I dont think its coming apart. I do wish we could get a bottom cover included so the sheets dont poke through the slats. The point of the see is to go underneath! Requires two people to build so one can hold parts up. I was holding a few areas / hope you have long arms!!! You wont regret it!
The dimensions listed for the length are incorrect. It does not include the ladder at foot of the bed. The length should be closer to 78.5 inches. That being said, the customer service is incredible. They responded quickly to my email and resolved the issue within 2 days. Good Quality for Cost

This bed looks great when put together but with little weight the writting desk board cracked. So far it hasnt fallen apart and my daughter loves it. I wish it was more solid but its holding up for now LOVE LOVE!!
This was the perfect way to get our 6 year old to stop whining at bedtime. He loves sleeping in the air! We put a sheet over the front opening and he now has a secret hideoutand he can keep light on at night. Its perfect all the way around. Great buy for the money and so easy to assemble. They send you everything you will need. ok value for the money

Worth it.
My 10 year old loves this. I wish the ladder was fitted into the overall frame of the bed, to give more stability. Pay attention to the pictures!
