It turn out that you have to assemble every little piece together to put the bed together. We came across two problem one you need hand held screw driver in order to put it together because the L shape device was not helpful at all. So we had to go hardware store to get what we need to assemble it. Second problem we came across was fact that when we went to stack it the holes for the dowls were in the wrong place on one side of the bed frame so now we have to find a different alternative to stabilize the beds so that are secure for stacking. Thought it was bigger.
It did take about 2 hours, 2 people. Everything came as expected and whole. It is sturdy and good quality. We love it. Just watch for the weight of the box it comes in, its something like 123lbs so its VERY heavy.
This bed is gorgeous! I was hesitant to buy a bunk bed that was priced so affordable, but I am not the least bit disappointed. It looks gorgeous in our daughters room and they are thrilled. Overpriced a bit.
Wonderful bed and sturdy. The directions are easy to follow but Im glad my husband put it together because there is no way I would have been able to do it. Our ladder pieces were damaged however the company sent me the pieces as soon as I emailed them and they arrived in two days. The kids love their beds and this was a great purchase ! Go for it!
I wanted a sturdy bunk and this met all expectations. Sturdiness was my biggest concern, which is why I avoided bunks. You can definitely expect a few hours to put this together, but it was not as hard as I thought it would be. Biggest advice is to organize all the parts and lay them out in sections. It will save time. But great bed, my son loves it! Enough strength.

Assembly took a little while but the bed is worth it. Easy to fix.
