The umbrella looks heavy and feels strong, but it cant be lifted with one hand, so that when I shake it with the other hand, it can get up from the top of the fence. Its the right size for my front yard!
I am glad that I picked the red color, it looks so nice and pretty on our patio! Its sturdy and easy to set up. Theres a Velcro strap sewn to the fabric to allow easy secure the umbrella when not in use. I love the functions that it can be tilted to about 45 degrees in either direction with simple click of a button. Happy so far with this purchase, hopefully itll last a few seasons here.
This umbrella is the replacement of our backyard umbrella. Lighter than the original umbrella thats been stayed in the backyard for almost 20 years but it seems to be strong enough to withstand against mild wind. Using the same base unit, just place it on the old base through glass table. It was easy to set up and looks good.
We got this umbrella primarily to keep the caterpillar poop that falls from the trees above our deck off of our patio furniture, so plan to keep it open as much as possible. We have nice shade already; it just comes with a price//poop.
The first night we got the umbrella, we left it open. It was a bit windy and though we got a 50lb base, it tipped over, so the wind didnt go through the top enough. However, nothing broke on it.
The second night we had it up, we had a heavy downpour. I had left the umbrella only partially open and in the morning, water was beaded up on the outside of it. So, I like the fabric, and I hope the umbrella works to keep our cushions caterpillar/poop free, or at least to a minimum. We live in Maine on a lake in a cove, so generally not overly windy. I believe I would buy this product again.

I just bought this UV protect umbrella in April and it is already faded. Not worth the money.

Tan color
We just got it. Seems made well. Picked the tan color as tan does not fade like other colors and goes with any other colors being used
