It came nicely packaged in a small box. I read the instructions and wiped it down before use. It has a lid with a handle, a cylinder with some kind of ceramic piece that grinds the beans and at the bottom of the cylinder youre able to rotate the inside left or right to adjust how large you want your grounds. A small plastic cup attaches snugly to the cylinder and catches the grounds.
The particular amount I prefer for my coffee was one and a half plastic cup fulls. I found a nice way to feed the beans into the grinder is fill one of your palms with beans, rest the cylinder on the side of your palm and let the beans slide in to the grinder. While rotating the handle it makes about as much noise as someone eating crunchy cereal. I appreciate this because I accidentally bought coffee beans rather than grounds and its an affordable way to crush up the beans rather than between two cups using muscle.
When you first get it, be sure to loosen or turn the grounds/lever/thing at the bottom of the cylinder to the left a bit, youll see it open up in a circle within the cylinder to allow larger shavings of bean through. Otherwise you may find it difficult to rotate at first and it may shave off ceramic clay.
I bought the stainless steel version.
I love that this is a hand sizes grinder and you can basically get a small work out with the turn handle. Its great for the price. I am happy with it and grinds the coffee extremely well.
Works like a charm! We are a family of coffee snobs! We either grind our coffee ️ for the day or for each cup. The beauty of this small manual burr grinder is that it grinds just the right amount for one cup of coffee. As Goldilocks would say, This one is just right!
My hands are often sore and puffy in the morning. The crank on this grinder is easy to turn with minimal effort as seen in the video. My coffee ground evenly and was much better in comparison to my expensive, electric grinder.
It cleans well. And I imagine when life ever gets back to normal, I could take it to work with me if I wanted to.
Many hand grinders are hard to adjust; this only has three settings but it is easy to change. Does a great job on raw and toasted spices. Ive had it a couple of months now; hopefully it will hold up.
The smell of fresh ground coffee is one of my favorite scents, next to fresh ground French pressed coffee with light cream and a whisp of ground cinnamon.
this thing does what its supposed to do.
there are four settings for grain size, but sometimes two of the settings feel a bit too close to each other.
cleaning is super easy despite having to sometimes get between the grooves of the burr mills to find a few more grounds that you have to grind outhowever!
the smell of the beans used with this is aming.
I hope mine lasts forever.
Since I enjoy my bean juice as most people do being able to grind it at the bigger chunks since I use a French press while the water begins to boil this is very relaxing also the coffee quality comes out perfect and it does clean very easily the only thing gonna mention is the picture does a disservice theres a cup in a cup for individual serving if you take it out you can actually make multiple cups for a big French press.
I am very happy with this product! It ground my beans very evenly. I loved that the box included a note from the manufacturers thanking me for my purchase and saying how to contact them if the product has any issues. I also like that the bottom has two compartments, so you can have the insert in if you arent grinding very much, or have it out if you need to grind more.
Ive used this coffee bean grinder only twice. I like it so far. I make my coffee in an 8 oz coffee press that only makes enough coffee for one person. This coffee press allows me to adjust the coarseness of the grinds, which i like a lot. It also has a double container to hold the grinds. The smaller inner container holds just enough coffee grinds for me. Im done grinding in about 3/5 minutes. I havent had to clean it yet, but it doesnt seem like it would be too difficult. When Im ready to clean it, I will just rinse with water and let air dry. The crank is removeable, so the whole thing does not take up a lot of room in my cupboard. I like being able to grind only the exact amount of coffee beans that I need. Fresh ground coffee beans smell good too.

Hold with both hands for sturdyness

Best Overall Hand Grinder for Spices I Have ever Used

awesome, but definitely entry level.
