This chair is made with real wood, not particle board. It also bolts together with real bolts, not the mickey mouse fasteners that you typically find on some assembly required furniture. The cushions are comfortable yet supportive. I have no complaints about the chair. BUT I do have a complaint about the shipment. This chair was shipped via USPS, who decided that the box was too big and too heavy to deliver to my house. This meant that I had to cram (I mean, really cram) the box into my car. (I don't own a pickup). I was an 1/8 of an inch away from needing to unpack the box in the Post Office parking lot. Clearly, USPS was not a good way of shipping a large, heavy box of furniture. Perhaps some Post Offices can make this type of delivery without issue. Sadly, this was not the case for my particular shipment. It would have been wise for the seller to check with the destination Post Office to see if this type of shipment was feasible. Apparently, they did not.
The chair was pretty simple to put together and it was easy to get into a small space. It is hard when you sit back on the chair but the seat cushion is decent.
First of all the chair arrived in two days!! I really wasnt expecting too much I didnt have high hopes for an chair. But I must say, this has far exceeded my expectations! We removed a recliner from our motorhome, and wanted to update the side chair. This was absolutely the best choice I couldve made! The wood is excellent quality and so is the fabric. It was very quick to put together. I highly recommend if youre looking for something with clean lines and an MCM look this is it!!
While I would not say this in the most comfortable chair, it is, for the price, and exceptional value. Looks great in the space, nice wood, good extra seat in my MCM living space.
These are very sturdy and beautiful chairs. They look smaller than they are in the pictures. They actually fill in my room quite nicely. As others have said, they are not very comfortable at all. They are very stiff. I am hoping they get softer with use! Would definitely recommend for the price point!
It is a beautiful looking chair and great value. Very sturdy and easy to put together, but it isn't comfortable enough for everyday use.
I came back to add that the customer service from the seller is incredible, i.e. it actually IS customer service! From a human! Who answered immediately! Replied to my additional questions immediately!
