Not pleasant to assemble. Theres a lot of very long screws you have to insert into partially drilled holes and they are allen head. The allen wrench they give you is tiny and flew out of my hand about 40 times. This is more frustrating because theres also phillips head screws so it makes no sense that if you need a screwdriver to assemble that they make all the hardest screws to insert allen head.
Otherwise, none of the parts are labeled so you have to figure out out with sketch instructions. Frustrating.
Took about 2 hours for me to assemble correctly. Looks decent but feels flimsy.
All in all the price point is about right. Not bad.
After reading all the other reviews, I think maybe I just got a bad one. Missing half the hardware, the standard twin mattress will not fit under the bed and some of the wood had layers chipped off but painted over. Holds things.
We were looking for something like this to replace an old couch in the basement that the boys use to play video games. Also, one of their friends may sleep over and this frame is perfect. Sturdy and fairly simple to assemble. I love it! Fit well,
This is a great buy! It took me and my daughter a few hours to put together. Some of the institutions are hard to understand. I still gave it high marks for putting together because neither of us are great with building things. Once we got it together and the mattress on it is very sturdy and does not move or creek at all when you move. It looks very nice and I high quality! Just fine.
Cheap wood. Cheap paint job. Directions are horrible, I feel sorry for people who dont have basic building Skills or tools, it came damaged in shipping, I was able to fix it. Id definitely pass look for something a little bit better built. Shockingly didnt come from China was made in Vietnam. Looks great.
