Talk about pleasantly surprised! VERY pleasantly, in fact. I wanted a toddler bed for when the grandkids visit because the littlest one has now outgrown the portable playpen type bed weve been using when they visit. To be honest, for the price I wasnt expecting the quality of bed that this turned out to be / thus the pleasant surprise.
First, its very sturdy and well made. Assuming its not used as a trampoline on a regular basis, I think it will last a good long time / which is saying a lot these days when it comes to furniture. Its a lovely deep, dark chocolate brown shade which lends itself to just about any decor, be it male, female, or neutral. It will fit a standard crib/size mattress, which is not included but which most folks already have anyway since theyre moving the child from a crib to their first bed.
It has good/sized guardrails, although I suppose if you have a little sleeper who moves around a lot there is a possibility they could fall off the bed. Fortunately, its low to the ground, so other than a rude awakening and perhaps a few little surprised tears, I think all would be well!
This is truly a beautiful little bed / and perhaps one of its best features is how easy it is to assemble. Piece of cake! Moms, aunts, and grandmas everywhere/ you wont even need to call in the man, haha. But when they see it all assembled and sitting there looking so gorgeous, if you want to tell them what a challenge it was to put together yet you persevered and here is the wonderful result, your secret is safe with me!
Gorgeous little well/made bed; two thumbs up from this Noni!
This bed was intended for TWO toddlers (2 years old and 15 months old) to sleep in when they visited their auntie (me!). I dont have children and I wasnt sure what to do about their sleeping arrangements. I was nervous because (1) theyd never shared a bed before all night and (2) theyve never slept in a bed all night without full crib guard rails.
Putting the bed together was a breeze, I didnt even wait for my husband to do it for me. When my sister arrived, I told her to bring a crib mattress with her, which she did and it fit perfectly (I had no idea that crib mattresses were standard).
It worked out swimmingly! The only bad thing was that since the bed is low and without guardrails, they were able to get in and out and run around at their pleasure. I didnt even think about that and now I know why cribs are high and have rails. But seriously for both of them sleeping in the bed there was enough room and there were no problems.
We have owned numerous baby items over the years. They are always fairly sturdy and a good, affordable option that I prefer to buying the similarly price but unattractive Swedish superstore options.
We are using this in a room with a matching crib and changing table and its just a really nice traditional look. Very elegant. I have another toddler bed that we have been using for a while now and it has been very sturdy and is excellent quality, so the quality of their beds has been very consistent.
My little one has a tendency to roll off of beds, so this bed was a great option now that she is climbing out of a crib. She has a bed that is just her size and the rails deter her a bit from falling off, plus its nice and low if she does roll off.
This is super easy to put together and we are very happy with it.
Went together quickly and easily and my daughter absolutely loves it. The railings are pretty short however a bed bumper can be used to add a little extra security. We just rolled up towels and tucked them under the sheet to help keep her from tossing out.
Very satisfied!

I took me a while cause I mix up the bolt size so be careful take youre time. I put a wooden child name on it and a flat wooden animal looks cute.
Good bed
I could lay in it with my son just fine
