The instructions could be more clear. Took me and boyfriend around 4 hours to put together ridiculous. Weve put together a bunk bed a couple years ago and it took only half that time, maybe 2 hours at most. There were already damage marks on several parts of the wood, and the top bunk is SO low! I get Claustrophobic laying on the bottom bunk bc the top bunk is super low! Like my 6 year old and 2 year old are the only one who can sit up in the bottom bunk. They should have made it at least 4/5 inches taller. It does seem sturdy tho and doesnt make any noise when you are on it. Too many parts. Assembly is a pain.
Bought this bunk bed for an upgrade in my daughters room. It isnt overwhelmingly bulky like most bunk beds. It is the perfect fit and I love that it is a full over a full! You get a great bed for a good deal. It took a few hours to assemble. It was easy to put together as well. Worth the price! Very Sturdy product.
It looks really nice and Im still assembling it as I type but I was only able to do the bottom bunk because they sent me enough of the longest screws but sent some other ones that are slightly shorty than the longest ones and they cant reach far enough into the wood to get it to stay put. Feeling kind of annoyed by this because I was super excited to do this before my kids got out of school but now I have to make a trip to Home Depot to finish it. yes we like it.
The bed was fairly easy to put together but boards came with nicks, gouges and scratches, and a couple actually split when the screws were put in. Seems sturdy enough but was disappointed in the quality of the materials. For the price it should have been free of defects and boards should not have split. The trundle bed front is not as sturdy as it should be either. Need to be careful when pulling out on a carpeted floor. Not best.
So far so good. Boys are loving it. They were so excited when we put it together they tried to put the mattresses on themselves. Assembly was straight forward. Took 4 adults a little over an hour to assemble. Dont need that many people but we were racing against the short windows of nap time of a 1/year old. Ive tightened the hex screws a couple of times already so Ill probably look to glue some of the repeat offenders. Considering getting a second one for the other bedroom so both kids can have friends sleep over. Works great!
You need lots of room and patience to put this puppy together. Be sure you understand the metric system and dont lose any screwsthey do not give extras! Very pleased!
Hopefully lets me publish this review since the real one got pulled.
You will need a helper. Takes about an hour to build. Open the boxes and pull everything before beginning. Will need a drill. Use common sense when building the top bed. It is big, heavy, and will take space so measure before buying. Is part hard wood and part press wood.
Sturdiness: Good
Looks: Excellent
Assembling: Easy to follow instructions
Overall: Good for the money Well made, easy to assemble and useful.

Before assembling make sure you have all the correct screws

Short on quality of material
Giving 4 stars because they were easy to work with and refunded full amount. Quality wasnt what expected it to be. Very easy to set up!
