Very well made. This exceeded our expectations. The quality is superb. It took my husband awhile to put together but it was so worth it. We had looked at other pieces in furnitures stores that were twice the price but not near the quality of this piece. We absolutely love it. Perfect and Sturdy.
Everyone says they love my set up, ever since I got this console up! My brother actually set it up for me before I got home from work one day, really nice surprise! He looked over every piece and there were no scratches. The box was in good shape, although it was very heavy! I love changing the decor around periodically, its my favorite part of the house so far! Perfect.
The piece is beautiful and looks just like the picture after its assembled. However, this design on this is poor which makes assembly difficult and frustrating. The holes for the cam locks to go into to catch and secure the cam bolts are misaligned, making it nearly impossible to catch the bolt heads. If you dont get it to catch, there is nothing holding the pieces together, so you have to force it to work. If you force it (basically by bending the cam lock), it causes the wood to bulge and crack on the other side. Thankfully all of my cracks are on the inside, so it doesnt detract from the appearance, but it definitely should not be like that.
More than half of the S screws that secure into piece 4 dont catch, they just spin and spin. I was only able to get a few to secure in.
Pieces 7 and 8 (the sides/legs) came pre/secured with cam bolts and cam locks and they were loose and unable to be tightened for some reason. Hopefully the piece will remain sturdy.
Also, if you hate Styrofoam, dont buy this. The box is loaded with messy, static/y, noisy, earth/killing Styrofoam that was enough to fill three full trash bags.
The manufacturer could learn a thing or two from furniture.

/ I like that the bags of hardware are all nicely organized and lettered, which make them easy to find and follow the directions.
/ If you can manage to get it together, the whole piece looks exactly like the pictures and seems sturdy enough. Its fine.
First, this product is generally over built. Although I have experienced cam locks loosening over time on other ready to assemble furniture, these cam locks were the easiest to install Ive ever seen and seem to tighten nicely. The glued dowels also help.

Having said that, however, I have put together many, many pieces of ready to assemble furniture over the last 20 years. Im also 61 years old, I have a bad back, rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel. And I still got through it all by myself!
This is a good, solid piece of furniture once assembled and more than worth the price. Beware of the cam bolts however. As someone who used to purchase hardware from a number of national distributors, these are the cheapest parts Ive ever seen. In fact, when they are screwed in even partly, you can actually bend them with your thumb. So dont use too much force and dont over tighten! With the cam bolts that do not have the shoulder on them, once you sink the last turning on the bolt, I would just give it two or three more turns at most. And eyeball all of the bolts on whatever piece you are working on, so that you can gauge approximate equal height.
You will need a couple of different workspaces to assemble this, hopefully a little ways off the floor so that you can save your back. I started out with the top resting onto old dining room chairs, with cardboard underneath it. I eventually assembled the next large piece on the floor, so that I could turn it on its side when needed.
Take your time, rest when you need to and keep track of all the hardware as you go, taking care to put pieces youre not using back in their proper bags. Youll be happy that you did. Decent buy for me.

I am very happy with this product. It has a nice sleek and modern design. It does take awhile to put together, but I didnt want to spend money for assembly. It took me 4 hours to put this together, but the end result is worth the time spent! Does its job!.
