I love this writing desk, it is a sturdy and elegant/classy looking piece. It was packaged nicely to protect the contents. I put it together all by myself as there is no Mr. at the moment and it was a breeze. I love the gold tone as it is not cheap looking. I get compliments all of the time. People have a hard time believing me when I tell them that I ordered it from . It does have a chemical sort of smell to it when you first unpack it but it dissipates over time (two to three days). I would recommend it.
For starters, it arrived no damages!! The box was pretty heavier than I was expecting. Took me 25 mins to assemble, probably half the tome tv distractions Its heavy, sturdy and my hubby said its pretty cute, haha

Easy to assemble. With two of us it took about 45 minutes. Delivered on time and well packaged. It is sturdy and just the right size for our guest room.
The grey color is true grey with no blue or green tint.
