Definitely met my expectations. We looked at furniture stores for an ottoman with storage and could t find the size we needed with storage in our price range. This one is perfect. We ordered the cognac color and it is true to picture. The cushion is firm and can support a cup of liquid without spilling easily because of being too cushy. The storage is good, not cry deep but enough for a big blanket in each side. Easy assembly, just had to put legs on. No issues with delivery condition.
