I kinda hate this bed because I cant reach my 6 yo for last minute good night kisses and snuggles. Im 58 and my eyes come up to the middle of the mattress. WAAAHHHHH. I also worry a bit about her using it as a jungle gym. That being said, she LOVES IT. Absolutely LOVES it. Id recommend it to anyone whose child is independent and adventurous.
I got this by accident but it is the same as the picture only thing i dislike was the pricing for this product but other than that it was the same as the picture
Pretty good product, my 16 yr old daughter and I put it together ourselves, took us about 2-3 hours. Overall think its a great item for the price, however I wish there was a break in the guard rail by the later so it was a little easier and less painful for the kids to get up and down and the shelving as the ladder isnt the easiest to use either so well be getting her a stool or something
We purchased two of these for our kids. They were fairly easy to assemble, and seem pretty sturdy. My 7 year old daughter had a little trouble climbing the ladder, because you have to step over the side rail, but after a day she had the hang of it. I like having the rail going all around, not open at the ladder, because it makes the kids feel safer. A ladder at both ends is good, because it gives us more versatility in where to put the bed. Definitely a good bed for the price.
Assembly was fairly simple, but I would suggest a helper on a few steps due to the size/length of some of the pieces. All the hardware was included, and the pieces together create a very sturdy bed! Only issue to get used to is even with the sturdiness, it is still a bit wobbly when my son is getting into bed, and hes not a huge kid (~75 lbs). Was very glad to get the desk attachment with it, as that adds some strength with several additional crossbars. Definitely a nice piece of furniture.
I bought this bed mainly for my son and on the days his friend stay over night. Sometimes his friends are over 200lbs. not the best mix, but we still have it.
Will update the review after I open, evaluate, and assemble the frame.
Box was pretty mashed in a few spaces. not likely the manuf but ups caused....
Looking forward to see how it looks in the guest room w/ Queen bed below.
These beds are for maybe 9 years olds and older because of the railing on top. There is no entrance once they reach the top of the ladder, so the child has to climb over the railing. It was difficult to assemble because instructions were not detailed so you had to be careful you were holding the metal poles on the correct side.... we had to unscrew once or twice because of this. A side and B side on the top and bottom of the poles would be helpful. We received our boxes drained with detergent or some kind of cleaning product.

Kids only
Perfect for little feet and sleep. Big feet will be hurt on the rungs.
Not the easiest to get in and out of

Not for weight over 200lbs

Consider for older children
