The bed was fairly easy to assemble. I only ran into one problem where one of the pieces was over welded into a mess and covered an essential hole where a screw needed to go. Luckily, I have a very savvy 75 yo father who had the tools to grind the welding down then he drilled a hole where the screw needed to go. Crisis averted. Check your pieces before assembling. One other problem I had with all the screws is that when trying to get them good and tight at the end, some of the screw heads seemed to be quite soft which caused them to strip. For this reason, taking this bed apart for any reason is going to prove difficult.
I like it, it was easy to put together but its cheaply made and flimsy. Some of the metal was bent which made it difficult to fit together. There was also rust on some of the welds. But, after I put it together, I do like it. It was a 2 person job to put it together for sure. Would I buy it again? No, but its alright.
For the price this bed is great. I bought these for my two young boys age 3 4. Only thing I dont really like is that the mattress pretty much covers the entire footboard and my mattress is only 8 so Id opt for an even thinner mattress next time. This bed is sturdy if all the bolts are tightened up. No squeaking or rattling. Paint was in good shape without knicks or dings. Overall pretty good purchase and I would buy them again. We are still in the process of decorating our guest room but this bed is a beauty, simple, trendy yet classy. It is super sturdy. I started putting it together myself and got halfway done, but I ended up asking my handy man for last minute help. It only took him a couple of hours. We are happy with it.
Having just given away a brand new bed, similar in design, that was purchased on eBay, and literally would not go together, this bed has been an absolute blessing. It literally went together in minutes, with ease, its very sturdy, and has the look of a bed that cost 10 times as much. The fit and finish are a good quality as well.
I put this together solo, took about 1.5 hours, which is mega fast for me! Very sturdy, just listen to when it says dont tighten all the screws until last!

Broken already
Put this bed together 2 weeks ago and the metal bar that goes across the middle is already broken and the screws wont stay tightened. Buy with caution
