We have a pillow top king mattress. Im disappointed in the size of the frame. I thought the bed would be higher off of the ground. If we used the boxspring the mattress would well exceed the height of the frame. One of the rods in the headboard portion came with a defect. Its a decent squeaky frame for the price.
The 2 men who came to assemble it were pleased that my room was empty with only a dresser against the wall. They come up to check how much space they have in the room first, sat on the carpet, read instructions and were done in about 45 minutes. I was relieved that they threw out the box and plastics, leaving me with some spare hardware.
I gave them each a ten dollar tip because I was so pleased with the bed and their assembly.
It squeaks a little but only because I keep sitting on the footboard.

I have been looking for a black metal or wrought iron bed for a long while. I love the antique ones, but they are all full size and I needed a queen. I found this one and loved the pictures of it. I got it put together pretty easily, then I stood back and looked at it. It is cry low to the ground. I had to put it on the 6 in level so my mattress would fit and not come to the top of the footboard and the middle of the headboard and it literally looks like it belongs in a child room it is so low to the ground. I might as well have my mattress on the floor. I am going to try to find some kind of leg extenders for it.
This frame is perfect. It was easy to assemble, everything fit as it should and is very sturdy. I see a lot of negative reviews, maybe I got super lucky? But I find it definitely worth it.
My boyfriend and I assembled it in 30 mins. Doesnt squeak, super solid, pretty, and a quality product! Kind of shocked at how good it is! Skip the expensive furniture store and get this!

Great iron bed, great value
I love this bed, Ive wantied one for years. This was such a great deal I couldnt pass it up! It was so easy to set up and is very sturdy.
