Bought this bed for my 9 year old grandson. It is very unsturdy. The entire bed shakes back and forth getting into it and even rolling over in the night. Wood shelf came warped and bent at the end making it hard to mount onto frame. The process of putting it together and taking it apart again is to much so returning it will be more work than its worth. Very disappointed.
If you follow the instructions it will take about 1/2 hours to assemble. I used one other person to help, I would say that makes it easiest but you could possibly do it with one person. Tools and pieces were labeled great which made it easy to follow instructions. Did not have any damaged pieces upon removal from box. Box was extremely heavy. Have not had any issues thus far!
Looks great but its NOT quiet by any means. The cross bar at the head of the bed has bent already and we arent big people. We sit up a lot. Very sturdy but again, VERY NOISY, NOT QUIET
My granddaughter just adores this bed and for good reason, its perfect!

Took my husband 2 hours to assemble by himself, which is a record for him! Looks great and is sturdy. We are bigger people and it holds up with the memory foam mattress we purchased as well that weighs 90lbs.

Bought this for the sore bedroom and it looks great, it was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough.
