Appearance wise this bed looks more expensive than it is, the finish quality is quite nice and does not appear to scratch easily. It was a bit difficult to put together and cannot be moved unless removing the mattress from the bed completely as the legs would bend. Overall I think this is a great purchase for anyone needing an inexpensive bed.
The instructions were very easy to follow. I set up the bed by myself and it would have probably only taken an hour, except for the fact that the company purposely only sent 16 of the 32 necessary washers with the kit. So I had to stop halfway through and run to Home Depot to get the correct washers. The criest part is that in the directions, it clearly says that you need 16 of the flat washers and 16 of the spring washers, but they only send 8 of each, as you can see in the picture. They do send 2 extra of each, but again, not enough. But over all, a nice,sturdy bed for the price and very easy to assemble.
The enclosed printed assembly instructions were wrong! Mistakes on step number 3, 4, and 5. The instructions clearly call for the wrong size (number) screws to be installed. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THE SCREWS AS CALLED FOR IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS! YOU WILL DAMAGE THE SCREWS AND/OR HOLES. I called the company customer support number and the person denied that there were mistakes in the instructions. Im no dummy and have quite a bit of mechanical experience. The instructions are wrong! I found the PDF downloadable instructions on the product description page on is printed quite differently and appear they may have corrected their mistake. Hopefully this will help others that may get the assembly instructions with the mistakes. If the directions would have been correct I would be happy with my purchase. Having to deal with this mistake caused me great angst because I did in fact attempt to install the wrong size bolt and damaged the hole threads. Had to go to great lengths to modify that hole to complete assembly.
This bed is adjustable if you are using a box spring. However when I put the bed on the lowest setting with the box spring and mattress it is too tall against the headboard. This does not allow for any pillows to dress up the bed and see the headboard

two many parts it took three hours to assemble it but it sure sleeps nice

We only used 4 pieces as we have an adjustable bed but even with using just the 4 pieces its sturdy and we love it!

Not metal
Its very pretty and looks nice but this piece is aluminum not metal. Can hold up to 500 lbs. the actual height under bed is 12 inches.
Gray color is lighter than advertised
I will be painting this frame as I do not want to disassemble and return I expected a dark gray colored frame but it is light gray
Strong and Sturdy
Very strong bed and easy to assemble.
Check box spring height
