Tip when putting it together the star drill bit works. Discovered this afer an hour with the allen wrench. Instructions are easy to use and i would have had it put together much faster had i known about the drill
Overall, the product is great! We are using it for college students and the extra length is awesome. I deducted one star because we thought it may be easier to assemble than what it took. My husband is pretty handy and it took approx. 2 hours to complete everything. Directions were typical, nothing outstanding to follow.
This bed has been a lifesaver! It arrived in two boxes at the same time so we were able to complete assembly same day! It’s a little tedious to set up but my children were happy to assist their mother on a boring summer day. It doesn’t creak or make any noises at all for us, but I was sure to tighten bolts very well. It’s bigger than I imagined, taller then I figured, with a real sized top bunk mattress my 7 yr old just barely sits on her bed without bumping her head. We live in an apartment so maybe the ceilings are slightly shorter than a house would be? However my son has a bunk as well from a different company and is 11 and much taller than his sister and has more clearance above his head then her bed. My teenager sleeps on the Queen mattress and there’s been no issues with her comfort. There’s good clearance with a 9-10 inch mattress on that bunk for me and her, but we’re short, 5’3. I’m stunned how amazing this quality is. The brushed finish and square tubes are different but modern and my daughters love their new arrangement. There’s also plenty of room under the Queen for storage if needed, we have six underbed bins down their now and it’s been nice to have more floor space! Previously had two twin beds side by side in their room so this makes that problem disappear slightly, we now have a Queen size but it’s allowed for more area to walk in their room. All in all I’m very satisfied. The instructions were clear for the most part, if your no stranger to putting furniture together then you’re going to be fine! Have a helper though, I say at least two adults but the kids can be helpful too!
This is a GREAT bed frame - solid, sturdy. Takes two people to put it together - but it goes together easily enough. More than enough screws et al comes with it. Instructions are not especially clear - but if you take your time looking at them - easy enough to figure out. Extra space for guests with the queen bottom and twin top. The twin top is extra long, so if you buy this, youll need an extra long twin mattress, as well as extra long twin sheets to fit. carries both of these items, too. If you need to move the bed, someday, youll have to take some of the bed apart, not all of it.
This worked out so well, I have to brag. Bought this for my adult daughter who visits often with lots of stuff. I enclosed the stop so she could use it for additional storage, as the bedroom is very small. Works like a charm! An added benefit is her cats the love the top bunk too!
When I ordered it, it gave me an estimated arrival day between 11-14 days but received it in 3 days. It arrived in 2 boxes at the same time for me, I read it arrived at seperate times for other reviewers. Building it was super easy for my husband (he used a drill) only needed my help to hold the parts while he drilled one end . It took about 35 mins for us to build from unboxing to finish. Instructions were easy to understand and every peice has a sticker with letter on it, which helps make building faster. Finished product looks great, I love it. The top bunk makes noise, wobbles and hits against the wall a bit while my 6 year old daughter is climbing up and moving up there though but not too bad that it bothers us. I read that the top bunk holds 175 lbs not too sure though but only she goes up there. Bottom bunk holds 350 lbs I believe, husband son myself weigh about 330 together. No slats bending or anything. So happy with this purchase so far and the price is great!
Well built frame and not as heavy as it looks but stronger than it looks. Took only two hours to out together by myself. No squeaks. The queen mattess was a snug fit. Great quality bed frame
