These chairs look very sharp! Not difficult at all to assemble. They are nice and wide and very comfortable. I was a little concerned initially that the screws would be too visible or stand out too much. The chairs (I bought 2) sit on my front porch and I never even notice the screws.
These were easy to put together once you got past aligning the arm to the back. I am however surprised at the poor finish. Screw holes during manufacture should have been filled and sanded. The stain is uneven and rubs off easily. I will not go through the expense of sending them back. I will, however, finish what the factory should have done to give them a proper look. They are strong and well designed. IT is too bad that the finished product was marginal.
I ordered this chair a while back and put it aside because baby wasnt due yet, id planned on using this chair as a rocking chair in our bedroom to rock baby. That was my first mistake with this purchase- assuming this chair would have a sanded/smooth finish.
The box the chair was shipped in had nothing to protect the wood, and a piece of the wood on chair arrived broken. It was a piece that was in front on seat, on rounded edge. I had to hammer one screw in pull the other out, as it wouldnt budge. Piece of broken off wood slat left screws protruding out. Instructions were not great. Just a piece of paper with instructions and a crappy black white photo of a chair that was not the one i ordered. The chairs wood is also very soft so it easily dents scratches. The wood has also got a lot of splinters. I have doubts about how long this will last with daily use..
Great chair for the price, big, heavy, comfortable would of given it 5 stars but putting it together was quite a task with getting the holes for the screws to match up for the arms
This was a gift sent many miles away. Was told it was the most comfortable rocker and the quality was excellent. I sent it unfinished because I didnt know what would work best. They loved the wood so much, they left it natural.

Wish the backs had a gentle curve for comfort, but think with pads it will be ok.
