Once I had the pieces figured out the instructions were great and it was easy to assemble the night stand. I assembled it by myself laying it on its back and when the front was assembled, carefully turned it over and nailed the back cover on. The drawer slides in and out very nicely, the unit feels solid. Excellent value for the money. It probably would have taken me less than an hour to assemble the unit IF there were stickers on the boards that matched the instructions diagram. I would definitely buy this night table again.
Unlike most owner assembled furniture, these nightstands were made like shop built furniture instead of the Ikea style temporary furniture engineering that is common in this market. If you have a little skill and appreciate better quality this is the way to go!
I was apprehensive about ordering this given the negative reviews, but I didn't want to pay four times as much for a similar style that matches my nightstands. It took me five hours. My advice is to lay out the pieces and pay attention to the directions. I was missing one small wood dowel, but I had one extra larger one, so I cut it off. The directions were very easy to follow, but sides 2 and 3 were mixed up on paper, which was obvious fairly quickly. I messed up where to put the dowels on the drawer runners, so pay attention to the diagram. I put this together myself and used a powered screwdiver for most screws, then used my hands to screw them the rest of the way in. I couldn't imagine screwing every screw in by hand. It's not a grand piece of furniture by any means, but it ended up matching my nightstands pretty good, and for a fourth of the price, I can't complain at all.
Overall, these are just okay. Like everyone else is saying, the instructions are incorrect, but I found them easy enough to follow knowing that there was an error in the numbering. Just pay attention and follow the pictures closely.
The quality of the stand itself is not great. Looks fine once its put together, just be extra careful when unboxing and putting together because the pieces will very easily chip and crack if youre not gentle.
You WILL need a drill and a hexagonal shaped drill bit. I dont know how they expect people to use a screwdriver and a tiny alan wrench to screw things in all the way without predrilling the holes in some places, but again you get what you pay for. Also need a hammer for the back panel.
Personally if I could go back Id just spend the extra money and get something nicer.
This is my second piece of furniture from this company that I am putting together (I ordered the side table and dresser). When you open the box, do not be intimidated by over 70 screws and pieces! The directions are clear and simple, and I put this together in under an hour. The directions say do not use a drill. The wood is so soft that yes, you can press the screws through the wood with only your arm strength, and I was able to do this despite weak grip strength and carpal tunnel. However, that's a whole lot of screws, so I gave up and used a drill, but again, the wood is soft, so be very careful not to split the wood or warp the boards with the drill's power. Also be careful to make sure things are lined up before pressing the screw through.
Unfortunately, I received a wrong piece (5 right side drawer planks and 3 left, instead of 4 and 4), but since the wood is so soft, I was able to drill through it without the guide holes and complete the dresser.
It looks just like the picture, but it's just not quality wood. I don't imagine it will hold up, but time will tell. You have to make sure to pull both knobs at the same time for the drawers to slide well. The drawers are not very deep. It really looks fine, and it's exactly like the picture, but the wood seems fragile.
Someone else said this dresser doesn't have drawer stops, but it does, if you choose to install them. It also comes with a strap to anchor it to the wall of you'd like.

Five Stars
Super easy to put together. LOVE It.
Assembly
It was time consuming to assemble such a small furniture.
You get what you pay for

Just like the picture, but wood is soft
