The storage under the bench could be stronger (my daughters backpack is too heave to be stored there)
It was a challenge to find a smaller size to fit our entryway that wasnt too small. Like that you can sit on bench to put on shoes. Wish there was a shelf on top to store hats. I put storage containers underneath for shoes. The color is more neutral, not bright white or dark wood color. Like the soft gray that will go with other decors.
It is very sturdy and elegant looking. We use it in our mudroom and we us the bottom portion for shoes, so we never bothered putting the doors on and it looks great like that too!
I have searched and searched for the right hall tree to fit the space and this one is PERFECT! It took 2 of us to put it together - the directions were a little confusing but once we got started, it came together quickly. The worst part was the little tool you have to use - hard to keep hold of. Once finished it made a great addition and meets my need greatly. And even a bonus, I thought the color would blend well with the woodwork in my home, but was amazed how it matched the color exactly.

I read all the reviews and one that stuck out to me was “TAKE YOUR TIME” putting this together. That’s exactly what I did. The instructions were all pictures but spot on. I inventoried and laid out every piece. It took no more than 2 hours to put the whole wall tree together and I truly took my time. I didn’t want to redo or unscrew anything! The only disappointment is it seems a little small…I did look at the dimensions before purchasing but it still looks shorter than most of the pics I’ve seen. As with other reviewers, I added items on top to pull the eye away from how short this piece is. Other than that, it’s perfect!
