The chair is a good deal for the price, Its fine for home use, but I wouldnt recommend it for daily use in an office. It took a while to assemble it. Everything went well until I tried to assemble the back. I found it awkward lining up the screw holes. I recommend you leave the armrest screws loose to make it easier to line up the screw holes on the back. Once the back is attached, then tighten up all the screws on the seat and the back. Also the instructions for adjusting the tilt mechanism arent very clear. It took a while figuring out the diagram in the instruction sheet.
I bought an Basic chair in 2017. What a piece of junk, never really did like it. Well, the piston finally dies, so I took a gamble and ordered another similar Basic chair from . Pleasantly surprised! They obviously changed suppliers. The new one has decent padding, tilts well, and was very easy to assemble.

Overall, this chair is a great value for the money. It serves its purpose and is very comfortable. There was one small piece of plastic that was broken in the box but it did not affect the overall assembly, structure or function of the chair so it wasnt that big a deal. I DO recommend this chair; however, the assembly instructions are too vague and what should have taken ten minutes took forty five. If you purchase this chair, I recommend installing the arms to one side of the back and seat first, then the other side, and THEN place the whole unit onto the wheel base. Do NOT tighten any of the screws until you have the unit completely in place. I promise you will save yourself a whole lot of headache.
I am 91 years old and my hands do not work like they use to. It would help if the arms were marked left and right. The chair is used for my computer set up, it does a perfect job rolling and turning about! The price is great.
