This is a great bed for our 3 year old grandson. It fits over the top of a queen sized bed perfectly with extra room on each side. Note: Its hard to change the sheets with it up against the wall. Make sure you consider this when placing in your room. The stair rungs would be better if they were flat instead of round. Exactly as Described.
We were ready for a big girl bed for our 2nd daughter but not quite ready for bunk beds. This was a fantastic solution. We fit a toddler bed under this junior loft. Our 18 month old fits absolutely fine, even I (55) fit sitting underneath. My older daughter is thrilled as the top bunk and she can now share her twinkle lights ( we wrapped them under the bars for her sister below so they both have twinkles and no choking hards.) My 140lb mom in law got up on top to adjust the curtain and there was a little wiggle but nothing you wouldnt notice from usual bed wiggle. My 5 year old had no problems negotiating the ladder shelves after 2 practice runs. I cant get her out of it now. Must buy.
So far, this is sturdy and a great value for the price. I dinged it one star because constructing it was an effort in frustration in some places / the holes dont always align well to fasten things together, so there was some heaving and praying and two people involved to get it together. Functional.

Perfect size! We ordered 2, both went together really easily and the kids love them! Decent buy for me.
