OK, this is a very inexpensive chair and one shouldnt expect too much at this price. But this chair is really uncomfortable. After about 10 minutes I couldnt stand it any more. The seat sags under your weight (and Im not an extra large guy) which leaves the upper front transverse steel bar digging into the backs of your legs and your knees sticking up in the air. The back is pretty sturdy, but with the sagging seat it leaves your body at an unnatural (and uncomfortable) angle. Another side effect of the sagging seat is it leaves the arm rests too high which leaves your arms sitting up high at a weird angle.
On a positive note, it does fold and unfold quite easily - no sticking or binding. And it slides in and out of the included carry bag easily. But the negative comfort level is a deal killer for me and Im sending it back for a refund.
Lasted 3 years. Rivet pulled through the plastic, but was still usable...until the plastic completely broke. These chairs were abused and held up well. Was hoping to get a little more time though. Comfort level wasnt great, but acceptable. The chairs were cheap and they were treated as such...on to the next ones.
This isnt a high quality chair, but it will do its job for a short while. Taking it out of the bag, it does feel lightweight, cheap and wobbly. Im 59, 210lbs and I feel very secure in it. I couldnt find any labels with a weight limit, but Im sure you could be 250lbs+ and nothing would happen. Not the most comfortable chair since the armrests are higher than others making you sit in a shrugged kind of position. Again, its a cheaper chair so you get what you pay for.
