Id been shopping for a new standing desk for a while when I came across this one. An electric with a drawer for 250? Yup.
I like the pattern on the laminate top. Its a unique alternative to the white or black on most standing desks.
If you put it on the casters instead of the feet it becomes a little wobbly, but not much.
The motor is surprisingly quiet and fast!
Assembly is a bit challenging. You should have a second person.
My only complaint is that the top comes in two pieces, so there is a seam that runs the width of it. But thats how they get it into one manageable box.
First day with the desk.
PROs:
1. Relatively easy to assemble
2. Onboard computer (for memory settings) is easy, and works well
3. The motor/axl drive so far works great
CAUTION: Only one.DO NOT attempt to lift the desk by the table top. The wood screw will pull out. Make sure to move, lifting from the legs! I do not really see this as a con, because the price is less than a Varidesk // just be aware!
Super easy to assemble. The instructions are very easy to follow. Packaging was aming! There was no chance anything was getting damaged in shipping. Looks great and is easy to use! Only thing I am not a fan of is the top comes in 2 pieces. You will have that connection point along the full length of the desk.
Product went together as planned. No issues until I noticed that the sync rod was missing! Emailed the company using their website and within 24 hours they confirmed the missing part was to be shipped. Was able to assemble the whole desk while waiting for part to arrive. Once arrived put the sync rod in place and the desk works beautifully. Very quiet motor and love how you can set the memories for different heights. Glad we went with largest top size option.
5 stars because its an excelent price, the other desks with lift capability I found were 3 to 4 times more expensive.
3 stars on ease to assemble, all though not difficult, the diagrams are not clear and did have to redo the assembly because the legs can be fitted incorrectly better design would prevent reverse install of parts, and correct orientation.
2 stars on the sturdiness, just the weight on my hands and my typing makes the monitor jiggle, truth be told I once was kicked from an internet cafe for typing too loud, ( I learned to type on a mechanical typewriter ). I am still giving the 1 star review because the drawer rails are of really flimsy metal I have seen thicker sheets of paper, in fact the parts come as a flat sheet, and you have to do origami to get the tray shape (this is not an exageration or a figure of speech its as thick as two sheets of photographic paper)
Most standing desks do not even come with drawers.
I am still happy with the purchas for the price. I would love to give it a 4 star rating but quality can definetly improve, its a solid 3 star desk, and for the price it will not last a lifetime but should it last what its worth, which I hope is at least 3 years.
This desk is aming. The assembly and instructions were super easy. Only took me an hour to put together. Everything works perfectly. The quality is great. Been using for a few weeks now and it makes a huge difference in my office. I was nervous that it would not go up high enough but it goes up more than enough. Would definitely work for taller people. Im really glad I purchased. I would highly recommend. Price was also decent compared to other models and it arrived earlier than expected which was a nice surprise.
I love this new standing desk; I end up standing most of the day! Assembly was very easy and it is extremely sturdy. I also love the minimalist set up as it forces you to get organized and keep it simple. The combination of standing most of the day and having a clean and organized workspace creates clear thinking and high productivity! I purchased this for my home, while working at home, but also Im having one purchased for my work office and Im getting rid of my heavy, bulky desk and big fat chair!
My only disappointment is that the top of the desk comes in 2 pieces, I think it would have looked real nice if the top of the desk was 1 piece.
Im 62 and my monitors needed to be put on a Monitor Desk Mount Stand to get to eye level when the desk is at its highest height (was always my plan to get with desk, but worth noting for review).

Excellent price but its flimsy feels almost fragile

It looks good. The motorized piece makes its super easy to adjust but its a bit wobbly.
