I had difficulty putting it together. I let it sit for a couple months after trying once. I finally figured out how to do it by propping one of the arms against a wall to attach the bottom and then the rest was pretty easy. Its sturdy and comfy (firm) and gorgeous!! Easy assembly.
The on these chairs is very much like a linen. They are very nice. The seat is firm, which you should expect. I imagine it will break in with time. Out of the box set up takes one person 20 minutes tops. Works great.
