It was what I needed and a good deal This bed frame arrived in a long compact box. wasnt really the best packing, each piece was just kind of wrapped with foam and crammed in there.
The first thing that struck me was that the finish had not aired out enough, stain/polyurethane/lacquer or something. So it had a bit of a splotchy finish, and a really strong odor that took about 2 weeks to subside. The wood is mediocre quality, high density particle stuff.
It assembled fairly easily, a few extra screws than I wanted to deal with but hey thats why it is so sturdy. No squeaking or anything.
The mattress/bed slats were really splintery, and while there are holes in them there are none on the sides of the bed to screw them into. The slats are not sufficiently wide enough and barely reach the sides, so you have to drill the holes like 1/8 of an inch from the edge, meanwhile they advise not to drill too close or the wood will split away. I got it to work just barely by only screwing them in just enough. Then I sanded them down so they wouldnt be so splintery.
And only the 4 posts actually have any smooth edges, the rest of them are all rather sharp 90 degrees.
I had thought about returning it but it would have been too much hassle to disassemble and then have to wait again to gamble on a different product.
All those issues aside, it looks good, odor is gone, is sturdy, and squeak free.
Quality workmanship! My husband hates to build anything so I did it all by my self, some holes here a bit too small and had to make them bigger, other than that it was exactly as I measured it. Great size for a small growing boy or a starter bed it held me my 12 year old and my 4 year old at the same time. It does make a bit of noise.
Positives: timely arrival, all pieces present, has 4 legs and functions as a bed.
Negatives: poor build quality, poor finish work and paint, subpar lumber used.
As a woodworker myself maybe I am biased. I bought this beck I didnt have time to build one for my son and it was inexpensive. The quality of the build and finish is subpar. They basically sprayed one coat of paint on it, did nothing to repair any imperfections in the wood, some of the holes needed re-drilled to accept the locking nuts, and some boards had a bit bow in them.
As a quick cheap solution goes if you need a bed are on a tight budget or need a spare bed for a kids playroom etc. this bed will suffice, but if you are looking for a quality piece of furniture I would spend a little more and get something different. All in all my rating is...meh. Its a bed and will do for now until I have time to build one.

It does have a headboard and footboard; wood slat supports no box spring needed that is a nice feature just use a drill to make it easier to put the slats on.
This sturdy built solid pine construction helped the twin bed create stability which is important and built to withstand the test of time. I say that as I can lay on it as an adult and I put it together it is very durable and a beautiful white finish. it is also strong and can hold weight up 200 pounds (me)
It is a unique beautiful design style in bright white that is perfect for our little girls room and matches her vanity and shelving, so we did not have to change anything else, the quality and ease of putting together is such a great value for the price of the bed. We do like this brand and is why we bought this bed. There are a lot of options, as I said we have other furniture from them so this was perfect.
100% satisfaction Theres a defect in the slates for the bed so I have to now go out and find something else just to keep the box spring and mattress up,very disappointed!!
Highly recommend! We got the bed frame earlier than expected and it was very easy to put together My son (12) actually did most of it with his dad. It is very sturdy and looks nice. It is low to the ground- we use it more as a platform bed and dont have a box spring which would give it more height. I also would have liked to have had covers to go over the screws in the head and footboard since they show if the bedding is not covering it. Overall great buy. thanks

The bed is very sturdy and looks great in my teens room. We may purchase another for our other children. Great value for you money.

Defect in slates for bed
