I really like the look of this sofa. It has a really nice velvet sheen and Id say its actual color is very accurately represented in the product images as well as the pictures I provided. The overall build quality is pretty good and it feels sturdy. I like the way the split back folds down and the mechanism that latches into place to hold the back rest at pre/set angles works very well also.
I have this in a guest room where it will primarily be used for sitting and watching TV. Its not super comfortable but its fine. The seat and back are both firm but they do have some give. I generally prefer more of a firm feel rather than sinking into a giant marshmallow but Im sure that some people will not love the comfort level of this futon. I havent opened it up to use as a bed but when laying on it in the couch configuration it is quite comfortable, substantially more so than when sitting.
As for delivery and assembly I have no major complaints. The sofa arrived in a square box and all of the large velvet pieces were wrapped in black cloth bags which both protected it during shipping and provided a helpful aid when dragging it up the stairs. One corner of the shipping box was kind of shredded but there was zero damage whatsoever to the sofa or even the cloth packing cover for that matter.
Assembly was fairly easy and consisted of less than 10 steps. The whole project took me about 2 hours total including the time to unbox it, drag it upstairs, and unwrap and account for all of the hardware. As for assembly time itself, it was probably a little more than an hour. My only minor complaint or thing to note is that a few of the nuts/bolts where the arms attach to the base are extremely hard to access with the provided wrench. I ended up using a ratchet with a 12 MM socket. I didnt try for very long to tighten the nuts with the provided wrench but my initial impression was that it was going to be extremely annoying and perhaps even impossible on a couple of them. So Id say youll probably want to have a ratchet and socket or a box wrench handy.
Overall this was a good choice for a handsome, if not super comfortable, sofa at a reasonable price. its worth it to me!
This would be a great staging couch or piece to make your space look high/end but in terms of comfort, the seat cushions fall short. The metal springs in the seat can be loud and hard. After having it for 5 months Im already looking for a replacement. Positives would be that its delivered straight to your door and putting it together wasnt difficult but did require two people. The material is soft. That was a problem!!

Negatives: This piece of furniture is very difficult to put together. It takes many steps and multiple adults. It is very uncomfortable to sit on or sleep on. Plainly said its very hard. There is nothing comfortable about this couch. After two months one of the backs has already broken. It will no longer lock into place and is against a wall because of this. This piece has been rarely used in our home because of its discomfort and its disappointing because of the cost and the labor of putting this together.
I highly recommend that you not buy this piece of furniture. I wouldnt call it garbage but it certainly lacks quality, comfort, and does not meet our expectations at all. Im highly disappointed because we were hoping this would be the perfect fit for our room. Only buy it if you need an expensive decoration and you dont plan on actually using it. Other than that, its a great product!
Couch in a box, literally one giant box Beautiful blue color, however mine came with two rather large scuffs in the velvet. It was relatively easy to put together with one person. Seems sturdy once put together and the futon hinges work well. Gonna have to give it some time to see if its comfortable but right off the bat it is very firm with barely any cushion.
Love the couch. Its a little hard but not terrible. Definitely takes two people to assemble you have to flip the couch at one point while assembling.

I want to start by saying this futon is really gorgeous. It looks great and more expensive then it is. The problem is the lack of comfort. I had read in reviews that it was firm, and I dont mind a firm sofa. This item is more like a piece of with velvet wrapped around it.
I was worried about my kids spilling on it when I first got it, but I didnt need to be. It is so uncomfortable that nobody wants to sit on it. If you attempt to sear three people, well my condolences to the poor soul who is stuck in the middle spot. If you try to just plop down in that middle spot, it truly hurts, you feel nothing but board.
Same thing happens when you try to sleep on it. I fold up several comforters and blankets to lay on in attempt to not feel that board in the middle. Also the back does go down for sleeping, which was a major selling point for me. However if you go over to that side the thing tips over! It is not made with a strong enough base to stay steady and level.
All in all this is a super cute futon and I guess maybe ok for a dorm or an office. Personally, I think it is best suited for a place where it is there mostly just for looks. I would be a bit embarrassed to have people sit on it in an office, that is how uncomfortable it is.
Ordered this couch in tan. Like previous reviews, its a lighter creamy/beige color which I like! Pretty simple to put together if you follow the instructions. I did it myself in about an hour (while working, making coffee, etc). Definitely on the firm side but comfortable enough to sit and lay on. Im 59 and can lay down all the way! Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend and buy again
Great color relatively easy to assemble! My daughter is 58 and could fully lay down on it. Im happy about this purchase. the product is beautiful and honestly exceeded my expectations

Firm but fashionable
I like that its easy to put together.however its super firm and after time you can really start to feel the metal bars underneath.
