I tried to get it to work but it opens for any finger print. Not what I paid for. I see now that this is a common issue so I guess Im hosed. Ill email them but others have already failed so I dont have much faith. Id pass on this one if I could have a redo. Its good enough.
Safe arrived well/packaged, no damage. Nice combination of fingerprint, PIN code, and emergency key to unlock. Programming was easy. As mentioned in other reviews, I emailed the support staff, and they are sending me the free handgun rack for the door.
Install tip: Definitely mount to wall or floor, else it is off balance when door is open and will fall over. Also, the highest position for the removable shelf is at 43.5, which may be shorter than your longest firearm // if so, then at least the shelf is removable. Best Ever.
The safe is fine, it fits my shotgun/rifles, but I would have liked two shelves. I have never had a gun safe, and I have never owned guns (51 years old). The only thing that is weird about the gun safe is the fingerprint reader is slightly off. I programmed 4 fingers. the last two I programmed do not work always. The first two fingers work 100. I have tried fresh batteries and the first two still work perfectly. I also have the backup key and the 4/digit codes that work 100. Overall I will keep this safe and buy a larger one when I get more guns etc. Buy it.

They respond via email within hours and even sent a free handgun holder for the inside of the door. You definitely need to mount it to the wall or floor so that it wont tip with the door open. Excellent value!
Great safe for small areas. I use this to keep my valuables and guns away from the prying hand of my children and it works great. The fingerprint reader is easy to use and works everytime Comfort.

Wished I bought a taller safe.
