I bought this back in January (7 months ago) and put it together myself. It took about 4 hours, carefully reading and assembling. It was cute and I loved it, but there are some things I must point out to potential buyers.
1. The slats running lengthwise that help support the mattress WILL move around. I kept having to constantly lift up the mattress and rearrange the slats, which was a huge pain, because my mattress is not easy to move. The slats underneath them, however, keep having a grand ol time dancing around and bunching together.
2. I have a queen mattress and bought a queen size frame, but there are huge gaps between the mattress and the frame. This means everything from dust to animal hair filters down into my drawers and my clean clothes!
3. Gods help you if you drop anything down into the bed, because youll have to 1) lift the mattress to get it and 2) figure out which of the three sections your item dropped into. If youre like me and you have your bed against the wall (it does negate 3 of the drawers, but I have little choice in my small room), and the wall has trim, youll have a gap between your wall and your bed. Again, gods help you if you drop anything down there, because the bed is a PAIN to move. And if you move it wrong, well, other reviewers were not wrong about accidentally tearing pieces apart.
4. The worst part is, I still loved the bed until one day I sat down on the corner too hard and the bracket holding up the wooden slats tore off from the footboard. I tried to repair it, but the damage was too much. Ill have to go and get some gorilla glue, I think, and try to repair it. I also want to shore up the general instability of the bed so I might as well do it at the same time.
5. Your drawers will probably not all sit flush against the bed. I only have 2 of the drawers installed (see 3, above) and only one of them sits perfectly flush at any given time. If you move your bed around for any reasons (see 3 again), youll mess up the alignment and have to realign the bed properly.
Because of issues 2, 3, and 4 (and probably 5, too), I actually highly recommend cutting a good piece of quality wood to size and attaching it to the bedframe securely, either in place of the slats, or above the slats, so as to create a solid foundation upon which the bed will sit and increase its stability.
Used to assembling and Sauder furniture with individually bagged and labeled hardware and labeled parts. This manufacturer gives you a whole lot of stuff and you have to match it all up to their drawings. Its a pain in the butt to assemble. However, it does look good and feels sturdy and were satisfied with it. I might possibly buy another one for our other home once I forget what a colossal pain it was to assemble this one. Thanks.
Dont Get discouraged by the reviews its a good bed set but just be prepared to do a little extra work to make it sturdy I bought some foam pad tape and extra long screws also some L /brackets some of the slats were to short just by like a quarter of an inch so they kept coming out so I bought some brackets to keep them in place and to stop from making noise next I used foam pad tape on the two middle beams and also added L/BRACKETS to the top and bottom of each corner after that bed works great and I love it also bought the matching head board which I love This was a nightmare to assemble.
Although the bed looks good on the surface and the storage capacity is great, it took FOREVER to put together and the pressed board began breaking where the screws go in. We tried moving this bed from one apartment to the next and it virtually fell apart.

Cute, but Low Quality and Frustrating

Great storage
Cant get every drawer perfectly square but I love it anyway Would definitely buy again.
Turned out great
Didnt take but maybe a couple hours to put together. The drawers are great, slide smoothly. Easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
Practical piece of furniture
Lots of storage doesnt take up a lot of space Buy it again.
So many parts and no labels

Very Poor Quality
Although the bed looks good on the surface and the storage capacity is great, it took FOREVER to put together and the pressed board began breaking where the screws go in. We tried moving this bed from one apartment to the next and it virtually fell apart.
I love this bedframe
