Because its a queen size, it took some time. I put it together on my own and Im 20 yr old girl and I would say it took an hour only.. on top of that, I took multiple breaks and was watching Tarzan during lol.. but honestly these are the best instructions that I have ever gotten to assemble something because the instructions were simple to follow and everything was in its perfect place nothing was scattered! Gives you everything and even a nice little tool to put it together with. Im going to keep using it! I really enjoyed putting it together. Btw the bed is really cute. I was looking for a higher bed and this is kind of low but honestly I dig it.
I love this bed frame. In fact, it was not only easy to assemble, was at a bargain price, was delivered quickly by two very nice delivery staff, but its also darn good-looking. Im super impressed. And, BTW, I put it together myself during the time it took for my daughter (with whom I live) to go get her hair cut. Im 74 years old. These pieces all come labeled. The directions are clear. Plus theres a video if you are into that. Me? I was thrilled with the directions. An allen wrench came with the hardware. Honestly, I cant praise this highly enough. The packaging of a box within a box was impressive as well. Even the styrofoam that was inside the box to separate the pieces was wrapped in plastic so cleanup was also easy. 10 stars!
This is a beautiful platform bed, well designed, sturdy. Heres why 4 stars instead of 5. First when it was in my cart, it indicated a 3-day delivery, but the instant I confirmed purchase, that shot up to 11 days. We live on the East Coast. I tried to cancel the order just a couple hours after purchasing, but was told it was already being shipped. Really? Then the delivery ended up taking yet one day more, so 12 all together. We decided to keep it, and just wait. The assembly on these kinds of frames is pretty good. We had bought a similar one just several months ago. This one, however, had the parts mislabeled (they put stickers to label the parts). This was essentially mirror image. We took an extra 30 minutes or so just mocking up the total construction to get the parts lined up correctly. Fortunately, we had built a similar one just months ago. So: product is great, the price is too. Delivery was annoyingly delayed, but I guess this is not uncommon these days. Assembly could have been simple if the factory put the right stickers in the right place.
This bed was so much better than imagined. From the minute I opened the box I was impressed. Included with standard build materials was a ratchet with the key size needed, which made building the bed so fast and easy! No need to hurt your hands and struggle with an Allen key to build. I was also impressed that all of the styrofoam in the box was in plastic sleeves, so no little styrofoam beads floating around or clinging to the wood. Unlike a lot of furniture from , the wood itself was in perfect condition and very solid. Building the bed was very straightforward and quick. The instructions are just pictures, so they could be a little clearer with descriptions. This only became a problem once (the middle support beam is felt lined on one side to buffer the wooden slats, but the instructions dont specify which way it should face, I initially put the felt side down to buffer the metal supports and had to dis- and re-assemble). Other than that the assembly was very easy. This bed is very sturdy and quite good quality. I highly recommend this bed to anyone interested, and at the sale price, you really cant get the same quality anywhere else.
