Husband loves it. The only thing that is annoying is when entering the code, the door makes noise. Easily fixed if you just push the door and hold it in place while entering code. Other than that hes content with his gift and it fits his long guns.
Very satisfied so far. Affordable security for my rifles. Its not overly heavy, which makes installing it easier and it comes with the hardware to bolt it to the wall. Programming is simple and instructions are clear. Great product especially at this price point.

Very happy with this product thus far. Fits perfectly in a little corner in my closet, and setup was very easy. Only real problem was trying to move it all the way into place in my apartment, but thats to be expected of any gun safe of course. Very happy with the purchase.
Not a true safe, but beefier than a standard Stack-On or similar locking cabinet. Perfect middle ground for most folks who want something secure enough to deter 95% of home intruders but dont want to spend $1000. Electronic entry is nice, as is the backup keyed entry. Packaging was tight, no dents visible, and the cabinet is light enough to move around with one person. As others have pointed out, this is a great deal for what it is. Alan, the guy who handles Moutecs customer service, is extremely prompt and courteous.

Accepting that reality, the goal should be to stop access from kids and possible unprepared smash and grab attempts.

Its pretty good! The lock feature is quick and easy, the inside is basic and nothing fancy. Its just what you need for the job to get done. The interior lock box is nicely sized to fit all types of valuables. All in all: money well spent.
I had purchased a Sentry gun cabinet that I had to put together and I hated it - very flimsy. I replaced it with this and Im so very glad I did. Its very sturdy, I didnt have to put it together (extra bonus), and its easy to program. I have a shotgun, rifle, 2 pistols, and various accessories in it. Its great!
