Great bed frame. Very easy to put together. Just about anyone should be able to do it. Solid. We like that we dont need a boxspring. Lots of space underneath for storage. We use it in our guest room.
Awesome bed for our Guest Room/Office love the simple style, can use stiorage boxes under 11 storage containers under bed which is fantastic! Delivered without any damage, easy to put together and very sturdy even for large adults and nice that we didntt have to use a box spring. Only caveat I dont it will handle my young granddaughters bouncing on the bed, which is a no no anyway
A great bed. I needed to completely furnish an apartment, and was looking for ways to save money. Rather than spending hundreds on bed frame, mattress, and box springs, I decided to go with this platform and an inexpensive mattress. The mattress is a bif soft, but on this frame is very supportive and feels firmer than it probably is. Be sure to follow the directions. Each piece goes on in a sequence. It took me maybe 20 or 30 minutes to assemble.
Fantastic build quality and an ingenious design. I love the interlocking steel box/tube construction and the fact that all of the rails are seamless. There are a lot more wooden slats than you ordinarily get and the velcro spacing/retention mechanism and anti/slip mattress adhesive pads are a fantastic inclusion which makes it really easy to place the slats and keep the mattress from moving around. I also love the idea of finally having storage space under my bed, so the sturdy construction that removes any need for additional supports is great for me.
Not designed for a Twin XL.
I bought this for my son who is away at college far from home. He moved out of his dorm and needed a bed. I appreciate that I can send him a bed from Prime and he can have it in a few days later. He put it together himself and I told him to read the instructions, a previous person put on . He was able to do it and he is not a hands/on/tools type of child.
After reading extensively through the other reviews, I went ahead and ordered this knowing what the possible problems could be (drilled holes not lining up and middle support too short because of facing legs the wrong way when putting together). I could always return it I figured.
Mine arrived perfect. No scratches, no mismatched holes, and I found the directions easy to follow especially with the tips from the other reviews. I set my pieces out and lined up my numbers before screwing anything in to ensure I wouldnt realize an earlier mistake at the end and have to dismantle the whole thing! I found that helped me visualize too. All in it took me about 25 mins (but 5 mins of that was unpacking and laying the pieces out on the floor with my five year old daughters assistance!) and I only needed the provided tool. I was nervous about the wood slats from other reviews and while they dont seem as rock solid as the frame, they are slightly better than I expected. This was purchased for a full size mattress for guests and overall I am extremely happy with it and would purchase another in the future.
